As always, a great experience. They have small, limited seating, so be sure to arrive BEFORE rush hour times, otherwise take-out is your only option. Service is always excellent, and the food items (I've had many different ones) are all good. Be sure to ask for the sesame seed cracker(s) if you order a salad as your primary dish. Support this local business - you'll LOVE it.
This was the BEST pizza I have had in a while. My family was getting our car serviced so we decided to stop in. It's a very quaint, family owned business. Macy was a sweetheart. We started with the Buffalo Sticks (think buffalo wings meet cheesy bread). They were AMAZING and definitely worth the wait (remember to be patient as everything is cooked fresh)! The homemade ranch is to die for. They make an superb Arnold-Palmer with homemade lemonade. It was truly the best that I have ever had! Next we got Chicken Alfredo pastas (we added mushroom and broccoli). Lastly we got the Spinanch - Artichoke sticks as a pizza (Alfredo sauce, spinach, artichoke, garlic) and added chicken and mushroom. We will definitely be back when we're in town and we highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quality meal.
We started the meal with an appetizer of cheese sticks and marinara sauce that was absolutely delicious and made us anxious to get our hands on the pizza. And the pizza did not disappoint! The crust was thin (almost cracker-like) but the pizza was full of flavor. You could taste the variety of fresh cheeses atop the delicious marinara sauce. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back to try more. Two criticisms I have was that it did take a little while for us to get our food granted with it being freshly made, it was worth the wait but a struggle for our toddler. The other is that it was slightly greasy, so if you have a sensitive stomach to something as such, I would be cautious but overall our food was yummy nonetheless and we can't wait to make it back.
I'm from Chicago and I KNOW good pizza! Sauce wins my vote. Their thin crust pizzas are flavorful. Authentic ingredients. Delicious! I stopped in for lunch and will definitely make my way back soon. I only wish they delivered. Great local spot.
Im still looking for a better pizza here in the boro, similar to that from Baltimore Md. I love a mom amd pop pizzaria decided to give the Sauce a try and ordered a large pepperoni pizza. Crust was good thin very little grease but something was missing in taste from the crust and the sauce. IMO this place has an opportunity to make a better pizza by adding more flavor to the crust and give the Sauce more flavor. If they could improve on those 2 things i would give a higher rating! Overall nothing special here amd the search contunies.
I really loved this place. It's kinda a little hidden gem. I didn't realize it was a restaurant at first being as it's in a little strip mall. It's got a small, basic, no frills dining area. There was only one girl taking care of the dining dining area and register so I did get a little impatient about refills. The food was excellent though. I got the pesto pasta and it was so good! I will definitely be returning.
The restaurant is small but cozy enough. Our server was attentive and good. They do not serve wine which isn’t bothersome for some but a good glass of red is always welcome with red sauced pasta. I ordered lasagna and my husband ordered chicken Parmesan. A salad does not come with your meal but you can buy one for $4.50 which I did and it was weird but good. I say weird because it came with celery sticks and baby carrots that you just have to eat with your hands like you’d get when you order wings out with a side of celery. My lasagna was good, but his pasta had so little sauce on it that it looked almost like plain pasta. When the server came by he showed her the pasta and asked for some more sauce and she brought him more sauce. He said it was good. When we got the check we were charged $2 for the sauce. We didn’t make a fuss since the prices are cheap anyways, but we probably won’t be back. There are better options for Italian food in town.
This place is so good that I ate here twice in one day!! Awesome food and customer service! Posted a pic of our meals and what was left of our loaded garlic bread! It was awesome too!
I never thought I would be writing a review like this. My chicken Alfredo ordered for lunch was not worth $15. Penne was over cooked and chicken was a pinkish color and bland. I was very polite when expressing my concerns to the manager on duty and he argued with me, insulted me, spoke to me as if I was a child and accused me of wanting free food. My coworkers and I order from here all of the time and we will never support this establishment again. The manager argued with me, asked me if I was drunk?! He also raised his voice and told me that “the customer is NOT always right!” I’ve never been so disgusted with management in my life. I will never support this small business establishment again. Zero customer service. Poor conflict resolution. Absolutely, no professionalism. This was probably the most inappropriate insulting conversation I’ve ever had with a manager regarding my order.
Oh my God I tried the lasagna and pizza. It was fabulous
