Recently, my family and I went to this restaurant for the first time. It was truly enjoyable! We all decided to get hibachi dinners, so there was a short wait for a table. Not only was the staff friendly/accommodating (we had our 17 month old daughter in tow), but the chef put on quite an entertaining show. My little one truly enjoyed dancing and singing along while waiting for the food. And oh boy--- the food! It was so good, I didn't even need to add sauce. We will definitely be back soon!

Had a great experience here this evening. The whole family was craving sushi and our normal place was closed. Popped in here on a Monday night and enjoyed a wide variety of appetizers and a few sushi rolls. Our server claimed it was his 1st night serving and he normally works in the kitchen.. I thought it did an amazing job and and would have had no idea it was this 1st night. Good stuff great service.

My son took me for an early Mother's Day lunch. We only had to wait about 15 minutes. Today was MTSU's graduation as well so that wasn't bad. The service was good. The food was awesome. I have been on a noodle soup kick recently. I had tempura udon soup which was delicious. The vegetable spring rolls were so yummy. Everything was perfect.

Ordered online 4-15-22, picked up my order at 10:15pm & when I got home realized it was not what I ordered. Ordered hibachi chicken and noodles, received shrimp and rice. Wasn’t able to enjoy my food, as I cannot eat shellfish. Store closed at 10:30 so i waited until today to call. I called to notify them of what happened & the person on the phone basically said I should have called back lastnight & (after closing hours) & that he wasn’t there so that I’m pretty much out of luck. $22 + gas wasted…HIGHLY DISSATISFIED!!

Nice deco and fantastic sashimi and sushi. Staff is great. Will be our regular place from now on. Reasonable prices and great menu.

The food is okay. I've had better hibachi. The food is lacking in seasoning but the service is good. The entertainment is just okay as well, nothing that will blow your socks off. Overall the restaurant seves good hibachi for the area. Make sure to dress warmly as there is a draft by all the windows. Other than that I suggest you give them a try.

we showed up late, close to closing and they were still friendly and the food was great. my friend and I have this long standing tradition to always get sushi, because our other friends don't like it much and he was only in town for a second before he had to rush back to his home state for his mom's medical stuff. we wanted to go eat sushi and this restaurant's staff were the greatest and the food was great....we honestly hit up EVERY sushi place we can find and rarely hit up a place twice and this ranks among our top 10. we both agreed we would go here again in a heartbeat. we were trading sushi back and forth just to let each other taste all the things we got. I don't remember a single roll being bad. it was amazing...--and when we were done, the staff was super friendly and not even trying to rush us or anything. it felt like they enjoyed having us there--even though it was closing time and they probably wanted to go home. we still felt like family.top notch customer service and the food was great! the decorations and booths were super comfortable and felt private... it was an excellent experience. I would say this place is a winner in our books.

This was my first time visiting Samurai. My mom and other family members eat here at least 3 or 4 times a month, so I thought I would give it a try. I had the tempura fried shrimp and vegetables with fried rice. I tried their chocolate lava cake for dessert (warning it is very very rich). I liked the atmosphere and the staff was very friendly.

We have ordered take out here many times because the food is great. That is the only reason for the second star. We are here today and froze the entire time. Our food (in hibachi) was cold within seconds where it normally takes minutes to just cool down! The steam from our food was pouring out almost like we were outside eating in 32° weather with 15mph winds- no exaggeration. The waitress was sweet and asked what she could do. Managers told her Nothing. It just has to do with the vents. The chef turned on the vents after he was done cooking and that solved the problem for the other side which we were closer to and where the cold air was coming from. We told the manager about our concern and he couldn’t have cared less- seriously. Only gave excuses and told us what we already knew.Long story short, don’t go when it’s cold outside or you will FREEZE and no one will try to correct it.

Only ate sushi, no hibachi. Everything was great, except the king crab roll. It was market price which was $20. Gave it a shot and that was a mistake. It was the worst roll by far. The 6$ Philadelphia roll was way better. It was a waste of 20$. Most of the higher end rolls all had fruit in them, or the same thing as all the others. Not enough of a choice for sushi. There is only about 10 special rolls.
