Having a meal here is like being in a friend's private house in Mexico. It just feels cozy and comforting. The food and service are fantastic and the ambience is very upbeat and fun. We had Mango Margaritas with a tiny bottle of Corona sticking into them. Dynamite - and my head was actually just fine the next day! My advice on the food: try the Molcajetes and get the "shrimp / chicken / steak" trio added to it. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but for a reason: it's chock full of all of the good things in a great dish. Including cactus. (Try it, you'll like it!) Two of us shared one serving and took a LOT home afterwards. Rare to find food this authentic outside of Mexico. Love it - love it - love it! I will definitely be back. (And for all of my fellow ex-Texans complaining about the lack of REAL Mexican food in Nashville... get in the car and head south. It's NOT that far of a drive, and well worth the effort!)

I dined in the resturant and the service I got was amazing! The two men who waited our table and cashed us out were very pleasant and attentive to our needs. I was offered a to go box and bag instead of having to request for one. They offered to refill our drinks immediately when they got low and my food was served hot. It tasted great and was presented beautifully. I had the Mexican Style Tacos (3); with steak and corn tortillas.I would recommend this place to anyone I know. I've only been here twice, but both times have been a good experience for me and my sister. The resturant floors and tables were very clean and well swept. 5 stars indeed!

Wow!! How have I not been here sooner? This place is FANTASTICO!! Staggering amount of menu choices and competitive prices, food was fresh & delicious! We have a new FAVORITE place ❤️ Respect ?

Love the friendly staff and the food is awesome! My favorite is the Mi Patria Bowl! Sooooo bueno!!! I have never had a negative experience here!!

Worst service experience in a long time. First, there is no where to wait for a table. They don't take your name, but give you a number. The waiter literally walked away while I was trying to give my order. I had the fajitas with cheese on top. The onions were huge and raw. The cheese was stringy. It's sad that the chips and salsa were the best part of the meal. I have no idea how this place has good reviews.

Terrible. Where to begin??? We were sat at table with an extremely hard and uncomfortable seat that was WAY TOO HIGH off the ground. I mean your legs barely fit under the a table that was entirely too low for such a high seat. It was like eating out of your lap! Very weird and very and uncomfortable. The food quality was poor and everything tasted the same; bland, lazily prepared, and boring. Service was also poor. Not a single smile or warm interaction during our entire visit. The staff seemed to be secretly wishing of all the patrons’ demise… this was a last chance visit to see if anything had improved aver the last few years. Guess not.

Food was good and hot. Employees was friendly even Juan who drives a clean 92 Miata

10/10 my favorite Mexican place. we got sat next to some absolutely horrendous and racist family today who talked to the wait staff like dogs. the fine folks at mi patria handled everything with grace and professionalism. don't let a family of bad apples ruin the bunch. you guys are always super nice and the food is great. I hope that entire family gets rocks in their shoes.

I’ve given them 3 tries. First experience wasn’t the best, food was ok however they didn’t have much staff and the wait was longer than expected. Second time was good I only had a burrito and water. Third time I ordered chorizo dip, margarita, and steak fajita meal along with my sons kid meal. Chorizo was burnt and tasted that way so we pulled it all out of the cheese and held the complaint. My fajita came out and I couldn’t swallow the steak at all, with the first bite. I told the waitress and she rudely stated, I still have to charge your card. It was clear I needed new food or a refund but they offered neither just terrible service and inedible food. It’s definitely a hit or miss, if you’re really hungry don’t put your faith in this place.

First time here and the food is amazing. Their prices are very reasonable. Chips and salsa are very good. I had the bean soup. AMAZING!! Will come here again most definitely.
