Birria tacos were fresh, stuffed, and SO tasty! The flan on the plate, so good too! Food came out quick. Staff was pleasant.I appreciate that the onion and lime were freshly cut.
Being from California and extremely spoiled being close to Mexico, it’s hard to find authentic Mexican food in Tennessee. I’m always disappointed and left with an unsatisfied pallet. However, Mexico Tipico was okay. I tried the Birria queso tacos and it was good. Filled with lots of meat and flavor! I also miss seafood as I’m always complaining of the frozen taste. Again to my surprise the ceviche was spot on! My husband ordered the wet burrito, he said he’s had better. My son wasn’t impressed with the bean and cheese burrito. The tortilla wasn’t hot and the cheese wasn’t even melted, but he didn’t want me to ask for it to be remade so he removed the cold cheese and ate some of the beans and tortilla. I would be willing to give them another shot and order different items.
Right when I walked in, I knew the food was gonna be good! I got the chimichanga and it was delicious. My friend got birria tacos and she said they were so good. Will be coming back to try more things. The prices weren’t bad at all!
This place! The 1st time we went it was PACKED! We were the only "gringos" in the place and I knew then it was going to be bomb. The birra tacos were so delicious! Super messy...but totally worth the 25 napkins I had to use. This is my new favorite place. So many more menu items that I'm looking forward to trying!
Wow... just wow. Stopped by for the first time today and had lunch. I ordered and inhaled the Birria Tacos which were absolutely incredible. Beef was tender and juicy. Cheesy yummy goodness. Huge portion and sooo tasty. Loved the broth. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dining area is large and open. I'll be back very soon. So good.
Great food and really good service. I always eat the Birria quesa tacos. They are fantastic! Everything is spot on and you can get a cold Mexican Coke there as well. Just adds to the experience. If you want real authentic Mexican this is the best choice in the Boro.

We use to come here all the time and told everybody how great this was on social media. The prices in tacos raised the more they started getting customers so we decided to stop coming for now. Overall this is a very good place to eat out at. ?
We have been going here for just over a year now, and we love it! It's quick, authentic, and delicious. We've never had a bad meal, and the only thing that's ever happened that's remotely negative was confusion probably deeply rooted in the language barrier.With that being said, this is the type of place we prefer. I would much rather go somewhere authentic like this than an Americanized version of the food.My partner always gets the Birria Quesa Tacos, but I sometimes switch it up. Last night, I got the Tipico Mexican Bowl, and I loved it. We will always be back!
So I came here because of the reviews. I’m a little lower on spending money but wanted to treat myself to some Mexican food and have a drink. So I ordered the chicken chimichanga with beans and rice of course and a Modelo. It came out, lukewarm, then as I’m eating the almost tasteless food I get to the chimichanga and spread it open. The “chicken” looked like blanched ham bits. It was unappetizing. I didn’t finish my food but the beer was good and their guacamole was too. I won’t be coming back sadly, I had high hopes. Oh, and the price wasn’t low enough to make up for the plain food.
