Good but not cheap. Food was good and people were/are nice but I was a lil taken a back @ 2 x meat and 3’s with 2 drinks and total was 45$. I’m not saying don’t go, just know price beforehand. Happy eating

Stopped while traveling to tour waterfalls. The landscaping was inviting. We arrived after the lunch crowd but food was hot and fresh. There were plenty of choices, and everyone was very pleased with their selections. Service was professional and personal. Servings were oversized and we left happy and stuffed. Would return next time in Murfreesboro.

First time checking this place out and it was really good. Cost is consistent with other meat and three restaurants, everything was fresh and the staff was extremely friendly. Not a huge dessert person but the strawberry cake is incredible. The owner (Jeff) spent a few minutes talking to us and is very personable.Definitely going back again in the near future.

The real deal home cooking meat and 3. Absolutely delicious! Highly recommended. They have great desserts too but you probably won't have room for it. If you leave this place hungry, it's your on fault.

Indiana folks here. This is a hidden gem! Traveling from Georgia to Kansas we wanted to stop and grab some real southern cooked food - no chains. Jeff’s was the perfect stop. As soon as you walk in it is buffet type style. You get your tray, silverware, and choose your course. They starve you behind glass as you make the hard decision on what sides you must get. Fried chicken, cornbread, mac and cheese, and don’t forget your dessert and sweet tea! We had banana pudding - sadly they had JUST sold out of their peach cobbler. The chicken meat is juicy and holds flavor. The breading/skin has a nice crips which is not too heavy. What I loved was it wasn’t overly salted or peppered, the flavor was great. I am not sure what cheese they used, but that was NOT velveeta, AMEN. Excellent texture and flavor as well. The cornbread patty was unique; it was not something we have had before. Would I have it again, absolutely. Let’s talk sweet tea - the south LOVES their Sweet tea, emphasis on sweet. Be prepared for that sugar to hit. My daughter loves it, but a bit sweet for me. That’s my taste buds though. Banana cream pudding, yes sir!! Fresh bananas, and wafers that were NOT soggy. I don’t know that I can say enough about this place. If you want authentic southern food and GOOD food. Take a tiny detour from 24 and eat here!

This place is hideous. I had never been so thought I would try it. Bad decision. The country fried steak was dried out with cold lumpy gravy. There were no utensils or napkins. When I asked for them no one ever came back. Fortunately I saw some forks on a back table and got one myself. A customer came in who was apparently a regular so they brought his silverware and napkin to the table pronto. A sign at check out said a meat and two vegetables is $10.95. That's what I had with water and no bread, but somehow my meal cost $14.00. What a rip off. It doesn't deserve even one star.

A friend and I went to this restaurant and we both left in total disappointment. It was our first time and I am sure they knew that......I mean businesses usually know their regulars. We were not greeted, no welcome whatsoever and no friendliness at all, coming or going and the food was horrible and was not even good enough for leftovers for later. It was all cold and looked to be sitting out all day. The only thing that was even warm was the Mac n cheese. I wish I had of asked some friends about this place beforehand because once I told her where we went, she said oh we all were very disappointed and won't be going back. The only good thing I can say about the restaurant inside is that it "felt" homie but lacked in manners and presentation.

What a wonderful meal From the fried chicken, cabbage, turnip greens, pinto beans and cornbread. to the banana pudding and peach cobbler, every bite was delicious. We will defintely be back!

Friendly atmosphere and good ol' down home cooking. Catfish was perfect. The green beans were better than mamma used to make! No complaints! We'll be back!

MASKS REQUIRED!For those in TN that enjoy our freedom, the owners will refuse service if you are not wearing a mask. Save yourself the trip. It might be the best food ever but I will never return and encourage Tennesseans not to waste their time either.
