Wife and I go there at least twice a month, always have had great experiences with staff and other patrons. The live music has always been great, as it seems like everytime we go there is someone new playing/singing.It's like having a slice of Nashville down the road without the tourists and the food is great at a decent price. They have a good selection of beer and liquor. Would highly recommend trying it out!

Great little bar with live music every day of the week. I had the hot chicken sandwich and it was fantastic and served with a ton of fries. Can’t wait to go back.

The food was excellent. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Everyone was very friendly. Great value for the money. I highly recommend Hank's Honkie Tonk. Can't wait to go back when they have entertainment.
I get just south of Nashville regularly and am a fan of live music. I went to the heart of Nashville a few times, but the crowds and traffic are a pain. I luckily found this spot in Murfreesboro that has live music 7 days a week. Definitely my go to spot for a drink, good bar food, and talented musicians. I go onto their Facebook page to see what musicians booked, and can usually find them on YouTube to see if your style.

Visited Hank’s Honky Tonk (former O'Possum's Pub) after seeing the ribbon cutting of their event space. Sat at the bar and the bartender got me a draft and the menu. Pretty much a bar food menu with a few “meal” items. The Happy Hour had the chicken bites appetizer $2 off so I gave them a shot with ranch and bourbon BBQ for dipping. I’ve gotta state these were excellent. The breading was light but had flavor and the chicken was extremely moist and tender. These were some of the best I’ve had in a long time. So much so, instead of ordering a sandwich I ordered a second helping. Food was great, beer cold, and service excellent. Wish it wasn’t clear across town or I would be a regular!
