When we arrived, we were asked if we wanted to order from the menu or eat from the buffet. We chose the buffet. Each person’s 2nd time plate was put in a to-go box and bag instead of letting us eat it there. When I paid the check, we were not charged a buffet price. They charge per plate and charge extra for egg rolls, etc. Not happy to have a bill of $89.50 for 4 people for lunch. We will not be back.
This was my second visit to Far East. I asked for the lunch special with fried rice,generals chicken and egg roll. I also had two cans of diet coke. I liked the generals chicken a lot better than the cashew chicken I tried on my first visit. Both visits were pretty expensive though for the location, atmosphere, and food. I think my bill was $16.
Really should inform customers when menu items that have been the same for years suddenly change. Ordered General Tsu chicken like I've been getting from here since almost 2012 and suddenly it's different and has vegetables and peppers added...which completely changed the taste and is not what I ordered. Do better at informing people of menu changes and IF YOU FORGET. At least offer to fix it instead of saying "well next time you will know better and to ask for no vegetables" like what?! How about you fix your mistake.
1st time trying this place, they were all super nice to me. The food is fantastic and a great price! I'm definitely coming back.

Make sure you check your food before taking a bite. I ordered a togo plate and when I got home and opened it, I found gnats crawling around in my rice!! This place has gone down hill. It's nothing like it use to be. The FDA should take a visit!
They tell you how much goes on your plate. $10 for one plate no thank you. Forgot her birthday I want to before not have to pay each time on a new plate.
Food and service were good.
Far East has excellant food and the best sweet tea ever!
