I had a wonderful experience at Cracker Barrel today I was eating alone and I had this wonderful waitress Scarlet as my waitress she was so sweet to me and so considerate and I had planned on going to another location in Murfreesboro I missed some turns and I ended up at Cracker Barrel on Church St., Murfreesboro God must Had wanted me to meet this wonderful waitress she was so sweet and talked about God she made my experience of eating alone so much better her name is Scarlet if I go there I hope to see you again
This place needs to take care of their servers better. It was jam packed this morning and it took us a hour to even get our food.. our server was running around doing the best she could. Poor thing was in tears. I only tipped for her because she was doing the best she could when most of the staff was just wondering around.
It's not bad. It's actually good for them. But the line was literally 2 hours long so we ended up just going somewhere else. Plus I don't know how they wash their floors. But they always seem like there's a small layer of watery syrup on the ground. So your shoes stick to the floor a little bit. But if that's your kind of atmosphere the food's pretty good
My husband, son, & I stopped in for dinner. Our waitress was very nice & paid attention to our son as well. She made sure the other children at other tables were comfortable as well. She had a great personality. The store was very clean. I got the French toast & it was delicious. My son said the meatloaf was wonderful & my husband said the chicken & dumplings were delicious as well. They were very busy when we went in, but we were waited on in a timely manner & our food was brought to us in a timely manner. We will definitely be back.
I used to love Cracker Barrel I had great portion size and the food is pretty good. I recently went when I haven’t been for a few years and the food was flavorless and I feel like it was Boxton frozen stuff. There’s a chicken fried steak and the fine print on the menu it’ll tell you it’s ground beef.
The food is great and the servers are always attentive. I really enjoy coming here with my family and always a good atmosphere. The downside is that there is always a wait and usually long. I understand that it's because it's popular, but after years of business, I would think they'd find a way to manage that a bit more. Right know due to the pandemic there are worker shortages everywhere so that may be a factor here as well.Either way, I highly recommend this or any Cracker Barrel, you will hardly be disappointed.
Without a doubt, my last TWO experiences eating in at this location have been difficult, and the last one was incredibly bad. My friends and I waited over 40 minutes for a table when there were several empty tables available. When I asked why we couldn't be seated at one of them, I was told they needed to be cleaned off. I then asked for one to be cleaned off. Nothing happened until I asked for the manager. Even then I was argued with by the staff. The bottom line for me was the rudeness and absolute uncaring of the hostess and other staff members. Our one bright spot was our excellent waitress. To say I will not return to this location is an understatement! It is poorly managed and a hostile environment to patrons!
The food we actually received was good. Our issue was the fact that HALF of my meal was missing and at the end of eating, we asked that the remainder be taken off of our bill since we hadn’t received it after being told it was “on the way” twice. When we asked for the missing remainder to be taken off, we were met with “I’ll go grab the food now!!”. Nobody is interested in receiving half of a meal after everyone is done eating, much less paying for it.
I had a craving for pancakes on my way to work... This was the place to satisfy that craving! Many just love the atmosphere, I love the food. I received my food within 10 minutes of placing my order and it was perfect. It was a great start to a great day. It worked for me, and it might just work for you too!
Hash brown casserole old and cold. Found this mysterious piece of something in them. At 1st it looked like an onion skin but the thing would not rip, I thought it was plastic.Meanwhile the scrambled eggs were not cooked. J cut into them and they were watery. The pancakes were warm but overall the meal ducked. Worst one ever from Cracker Barrel
