Right away, the inside of the restaurant was closed to the public. There was no sign with a reason posted. The drive through person was inaudible and not pleasant. We ordered the cheeseburger and Cajun fries. The burger was a frozen preformed patty and tasted like it. The fries were excellent.Overall, will not return.

Service is very fast and the food is always hot and fresh. Great onion rings, hush puppies and barbecue. A fairly extensive menu for a fast food restaurant. The location on Rutherford Blvd is the best.

after ordering my friend handed me a 20$ bill, i know this because we sat in line for around 10 minutes, as i was holding it the entire time. after receiving our food our total was 9.84 and the worker handed me 36 cents and that was all. we double checked the receipt and waited at the window to tell him we didn't get the correct change. around another 5 minutes later, he came back to the window, i politely said that we were missing 10$ and showed him the receipt. his tone was rude and obnoxious, as he insisted we handed him a ten. i again, corrected him that we handed him a 20$ as me and 2 of my friends could confirm it. i asked to speak to general manager and he said he was the general manger. as someone who works in fast food, i was appalled by the behavior and would never speak to a customer with such disrespect, especially as a manager. he said he could count the draw to see if he was 10$ over and i agreed. around 10 minutes later, he returned and handed me 10$ with no apology or remorse. i understand people will try to con others out of money but i was not demanding or rude and couldn’t believe the disrespect. as a “general manager” if you cannot hand out change correctly then you should not be in management, let alone a crew member.

It's always great. I love their BBQ sandwiches; my grandson likes their hamburgers. He doesn't eat any other companies. I love their shakes.

Horrible experience! Disgusting and repulsive how poor/ terrible the service was. There is a girl that works the drive thru that is incredibly rude and disrespectful for no reason. I politely asked for two cookout sauces since there was not any placed in my order. I then was then yelled at saying that if I wanted sauce that I would have to pay for it. She said it would be three dollars per sauce. I bought one sauce and watched her then pocket the money throw the sauce in my car then slam the drive thru window. Very disappointed that people that expect $15 an hr minimum wage for sub par disrespectful quality of service. If I was the manager or franchise of this establishment I would fire the employee immediately as she displays a terrible image for the local establishment and the brand CookOut itself.

Super convenient and smart it closes at 4 a.m.(Idk about all locations).Early birds on the way to work or night owls from the bars would do good to stop on by. Get some good, pretty cheap, food on that tummy.Personally, i can't go to a Cook Out without getting a milkshake. Tonight's blueberry cheesecake one is the Bee's Knees. Lol

The wait for the food was ridiculous and then when me and my fiance finally got our food her burger was extra small with just a spot of cheese and the tomato that we asked for was the size of a 1/4 lb burger. Over all I have to say this is one of the worst places to eat. They don't care about how their food looks or tastes.

They forgot my milkshake and I had 2 orders of chicken nuggets and I only received one. You guys need to start double checking orders…. And need to start hiring better people , I didn’t say anything because she seem like she didn’t care and did not want to work there…

Ordered the cheddar style burger, which is usually my favorite because the onions are supposed to be cooked, but at this location they were raw. Also, there was so much mayonnaise on the sandwich that the bun was soaked and completely drowned in mayonnaise. The only amount of “cooked” that the onions were was in an ocean of warm mayonnaise. The Cajun fries were grossly over seasoned, cold, and stale. I ate this messy meal in my car as soon as I drove away from the window, which is how I know it was not hot. And the one thin napkin I was given did nothing for the food-cost-ruining amount of mayo all over my hands. The sweet tea was good though.

We used to eat cookout all the time. The food was amazing. We moved away and don't have one close. Today we were in town and stopped in at the one. The quality has definately gone way down, and the prices went up. We got two ice teas but might have well been drinking water. Of course, the lady at the window was rude when I told her. The burger was all bread... what happened to the delicious hamburger patties you once had? They used to have my favorite fries, but even those have lost their luster. It was just all around disappointing, and I was so looking forward to my once favorite place.
