My family and I went to Burger Republic about 1.5 years ago and it was a great. However, when we went last night it reminded me more of a overpriced fast food place. You look at a menu that is in the foyer. You order and pay for your food at the front. They ask for a tip at the register. The waitress delivers food to your table and you go get your drink from self service drink machine. My husband ordered the garlic burger, but there was so much garlic that he could not taste the burger. The same with the garlic fries my daughter ordered. The chicken bacon ranch sandwich did not have any seasoning. We spent $140 and will not return. We left the waitress $15 tip because this location may not be here too much longer based on the amount of customers in attendance.
I had to change my review because of health code concerns. I will not be back.The lady at the table next to me and I ordered around the same time. The "server" mistakenly gave us each other's burgers. I had stated to eat my side once she got her burger. After her mentioning that she got the wrong burger, I realized what happened. We told the server what happened and he took our burgers to the back to "fix the problem" then came back out in less than 5 min. He admitted that the just changed swapped our plates. We told him that you can't do that because it's a heath code violation. Then then told us that the manager told him to do it.We insisted that we speak to that manager. We explained that the situation to him. He didn't seem to care or see the issue with what he had done. Was not the least bit sorry or did he accept responsibility for his actions.We insisted on refunds. Another manager came out later with our refunded receipts. She was apologetic.My party went to another restaurant and will not be returning. Really disappointed because I liked this place.
This is more of a pub style burger place. Order at the counter and have a seat. The soda fountain was out of everything. The burgers didn't have any flavor and were over cooked. We tried the classic and it really wasn't anything to brag about. The prices were a bit steep compared to other burger places near by. If you were interested in grabbing a beer this would probably be the place for you!
When my friend suggested we meet here, I was glad she was the one to recommend it because I didn't have to ask about GF buns. They have them!This was my first time at Burger Republic, but it will not be my last. I had the Shroomin' Burger, med-rare, and it was just about everything I hoped for it to be. Though part of my burger was more medium than med-rare, the other half of it was correcr. The burger was a little tall for the bite and was incredibly messy, but it was really delicious. I believe part of this messiness probably came from the gluten free bun, but it was worth it. My tater tots were the perfect amount of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.The food came out correct and quickly, we were checked on a few times even though the new method is order at the counter and then sit, and everything was good. The atmosphere is nice, and I believe this might be one of the better chain type restaurants in the hotel district.Give them a shot!
Very disappointed on my visit in Sunday. I asked for wings to be brought before meal as appetizer. They did not follow directions and brought it with our burgers. The wings were good but screwed up on bringing the wrong dressing. I asked for extra crispy fries. The fries were not crispy. The table was not that clean. The knife I received was disgustingly dirty. I had to ask for another one and it was still not the cleanest. The service was poor. This was my second visit and not quite sure I’ll be back.
Very good! Nice upscale burger joint with Bar and Outdoor seatings with fire! Service is solid and the food comes out quick. Can build your own burger or choose from the variety of different burgers. Sides are very solid. Overall very good and deserves more credit! It’s also located in the fountains which is a nice place to go for a walk to walk off your burger!
The meal would have been good if I would have gotten more than 6 friggin fries. I can't stand this trend in restaurants to downsize your portions instead of raising the price a dollar. I get it, Biden has effed up the economy and supply prices are insane...but don't sneakily decrease your portions in order to save $. I'd much rather pay another buck or two to get a full-sized meal versus paying $13 for a burger and fries and still being hungry afterwards. The burgers are tasty and their good-sized, and the fries taste fine, but you don't get nearly enough of them.
Warm inviting atmosphere. As you walk in you can immediately see the large open bar area as well as plenty of seating in the dining area. This location also has outdoor seating. We ordered the jumbo chicken wings Buffalo style and "The 96" burger with truffle tots. The wings - They came out hot and fresh. Wings appear to be coated in a very light breading or possibly potato or corn starch. Ours came in Buffalo sauce which was very mild. The truffle tots - Hot crispy and if you like truffle salt you will like these. The 96 - Basically a blue cheese infused Burger with bacon, a sweet sauce with onions and mushrooms to balance out the savory, on a light airy bun. Came out hot and fresh and well executed. All in all I enjoyed the experience and everything was as advertised. I'm sure I'll be back.
What used to be a great place to eat and grab a beer is no longer... you can tell they are short staffed but they are falling short in the kitchen and on the front end. The last 2 times I've been in our orders have been completely wrong, they gave my 11yo a spiked milk shake in an entirely different flavor than the one I ordered and then gave me a plain one different than what she ordered. Burgers were not cooked to order and the sides were all on the wrong plates. I don't think I'll be visiting this location again anytime soon.
We found the best hamburgers in Murfreesboro TN, the Burger Republic. The food is delicious, the service is A+ and the restroom was sparkling clean. Jim and all the workers were very friendly. I would suggest this place to everyone. The ambience is nice. The tables outside have individual fire in the middle of the tables. This place is great for a date or for the family. A must try. Five star.
