Hostess that saw us only said two words..how many?. I guess the welcoming part was not on her agenda. Waitress was really nice and friendly. This was our first time and she was patient and explained everything. We got there about 1245pm and it was pretty dark for me. Could hardly read the menu. Food took a minute to get to our table. My pizza and buffalo thighs were great. Wife ordered plain wings and that is exactly how it tasted. Needed some seasoning. Thank goodness for the dipping sauce the waitress suggested that helped turn the meal into a tasty dish. Don't know if I will return soon but it was an ok place.
I tried to do an online reservation and was unable to do that. It said call the restaurant to book my reservation. I then called the restaurant and was told very rudely that there were a lot of big parties and I couldn’t make a reservation. I decided to go to the restaurant and get there a little earlier than I had told our friends so that I could get our name in and hopefully get to eat within a decent time period. We would have gone elsewhere, but my daughter wanted to eat there for her birthday. I got to the restaurant and was told there were a lot of other big parties and that a table may not be available for 40-45 minutes, I told the hostess that we were willing to split up. She was very rude and told me that it would be a 40-45 minute wait or longer. Fast forward to an hour later after many tables had been sat where we could have split up easily and 1 of our party went to check and see how much longer. She was told that it would probably be another 25 minutes. My husband then went to talk to the hostess and asked why it was going to be so much longer, she stated “There are large parties that are at those tables and I can’t just make them get up!” Which we were not asking, we were just wondering why other tables were sat where we could have been sat at. Altogether, not a great experience and we will probably not dine there again.
I had the double boned pork chop it was delicious very flavorable
Terrifyingly average. The cheeseburger was… average. The fries were… average. AND COLD. The Diet Coke was a 7/10 on the stale scale. Very watered down and… AVERAGE. The only good thing were the bazookas. They were thoroughly enjoyable, but the hot fudge was cold. I threw up multiple times.
The food was great! Recommend the Tri-tips. The price that I selected was including a couple drinks. I had a half rack of baby backs and a 6oz tri-tip combo and it was $24.95. I would recommend. It is a little pricier on drinks though than I'm used to where I live. Smaller city that is.
Drinks were awful, gave us the wrong food and a raw burger. The staff could have cared less!
The fam and I came for Sunday brunch and unfortunately, I'm not that impressed. Gabriella, our waitress, was really nice, and she did her best to make our experience pleasant; however, an order of fries was forgotten until the end of the meal, an entree and the sides had to be sent back because they were cold, and ALL the glasses were watermarked, but two of them were just plain dirty. Nevertheless, I did enjoy the gluten-free chocolate cookie dessert, lavender lemonade, and the peppered BBQ chicken thighs--hence the extra star.
Not what it use to be at all. We were seated in the booth right at the front. The inside door was propped open so every time someone came in or out, we got blasted with freezing air from outside. The best appetizers are discontinued or not available, So we all got sad side salads...We kept it simple for our group of 3, and ordered a deep dish (1 topping) pepperoni pizza. Our waitress decided to put it in as the pepperoni extreme - which not only costs more but NOT what I ordered or wanted! The pizza may have been in a deep dish pan but it was NOT a deep dish pizza. More then Half the pizza was crust and it tasted horrible! When I asked the waitress about the pizza she tells me that's the way they are doing it now "Chicago" style.... I'm sorry but don't lie to me because your kitchen and/or you, made a mistake.Yes I could have had them fix the pizza but my waitress was so adamant that this was correct and I was wrong, that I just sat at the table and drank my watered down sweet tea and tried not to cry till the overpriced check came. We paid and left hungry and unsatisfied.
Past experiences were poor but we tried again after 2 years. And finally have written BJs off the list.To start - after waiting an hour - there were numerous empty tables within view from the hostess station. I noted to the hostess a table that had been clean and empty 10 minutes as a gentle suggestion, and she blew it off and kept looking at her screen. 5 minutes later she ended up seating us at that table (the customer could have done it 15 min before she did). Hostess also didn't give us silverware nor did the waitress before walking off so once the salad was delivered we had to wait for the waitress to come back into view (5min+) to get silverware. It took 35 minutes from time of order to get our food. (The food itself wasn't bad but was overpriced - $16.99 for a salad with a bit of tuna).Server was friendly but not very present. She brought us a plate with a piece of lettuce on it (not clean). We only needed one plate so it wasn't as if it was hidden under another when she handed it to us.The pizza wasnt even sliced through (the simple things)...A couple other signs that might be symptomatic of the way this place is run...-- the manager never once walked by (that i saw) and definitely never came by the table to ask how everything was.-- the pull handle on the front door was missing a nut and thus hanging loosely at and angle and not only hard to use but hanging to the side interfering with the other door. In the couple hours we were there, no one installed a new bolt, removed that side handle, or at least added something to make it obvious there's an issue. Amazing.Edit to add: I forgot... the server said she was "out of" the small size pizza but had the 2 larger sizes. Does this mean they are heating up frozen crusts when you order?
went for dinner tonight, waitress didn’t show up to take our order for 45 minutes. got a manager because we were going to pay for our drinks and leave, he got us to stay- took our order, 20 minutes later she comes over and asks if the manager took our order. everyone got there drinks except for one in our party who ordered a beer, which he didn’t get for an hour. waitress only came to our table twice the entire time we were there. no food or drinks were taken off the bill, or any sort of compensation for the terrible experience we had. we were excited to go, our first time here, won’t be back.*editforgot to add, when we arrived the table was dirty, not wiped down or anything. As well as both the prime rib meals two people ordered in our party were suppose to come with pizookies, yeah never got those either.
