The food here is very good. The crab refried rice has a lot of crab in it. Enough to share. We got two rolls and they are large. The owners are very accommodating. Can't wait to go back.
Mount Juliet has a fantastic Thai and sushi restaurant. Yes, Smiley Thai is Delicious!Our waiter did an exceptional job. He was a tentative and professional. All of the service was superb. The food had such good flavor and the presentation was beautiful.
This was our first time ordering from Smiley Thai and we ordered take out. Everything g was excellent. They packaged the sauces separately which was nice so the fried roll wouldn’t get soggy. We will absolutely be back. You’ll love this place!
My wife had the pepper steak and I had the Tom Kha soup (excellent!) and the shrimp pad Thai (VERY GOOD!). They have a good selection of draft beers too. We’ll definitely be back with friends!
I really wanna give this place 5 stars, their customer service is great and the portions were awesome(we did take out). However, the cost is a little high and taste didn't match. Don't get me wrong, it was good sushi (very fresh and appetizing), but for the cost it didn't make as much of an impact.2 small bowls of soup, 5 special rolls, 1 regular roll, 3 orders of crab Rangoon and a poke bowl came to $182 (albeit 15% of that was tip). It just seemed quite excessive in cost for what we got.I'd consider going back for lunch prices/menu, but I'm on the fence for dinner
Wow! We were totally surprised by this place. I know it had good reviews so we didn't think it would be terrible but was not expecting it to be this good! We got 4 special rolls (Devil, Godzilla, Spider and Fuji) which were nice sized and so delicious. Our 2 favs were the Devil and Godzilla but can't wait to try others. Our server said he recommended the Dixie roll so we will get that for sure next time! The dining was small but nice and they have a little outdoor area too. The wait staff wasn't overly attentive but we didn't lack anything and they were very nice. My ONLY complaint is that they charge $ 0.85 for a side of spicy mayo.. I mean come on that is so chince just give me the sides for free! Other than that this place is a great find, can't wait to try other food there!
We were fortunate to get there early as it was beginning to get crowded. I forgot to take photos again, duh. We shared a fried tofu. My partner was unsure what to order and had steamed shrimp & white rice. I got my usual when going Thai...curry shrimp with white rice. I thought the portions were small; hers and mine? I'm used to being ask how ?, but not this time. Heat was probably a 2 on 1-5? I usually get 3...it was our anniversary and we wanted to eat local and this was on our list of places to dine in 2022. We may try once more when we can sit outside...

Gotten take out from here numerous times and it is always delicious! Sushi is always great, they have a good variety of rolls to choose from. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
