People have been telling me how good the food is at Oscar's Taco Shop in the Providence shopping area of Mount Juliet Tennessee.I went there this week to give it a try.. It was fantastic! The young man that took my order knew the menu frontwards and backwards. He made great suggestions. The food had a different flavor but I liked it. The portions are large and everything was delicious. I highly recommend Oscar's taco shop.
I was not expecting to find amazing Mexican food while in Nashville, but here I am! I made sure to come back (and bring a group). Everything was exactly how they make it back home in Arizona, I couldn’t be happier with how delicious everything was. So excited that my conference is in Nashville again next year so I can come back!
Ordered chicken and shrimp but got only shrimp. No proper cooked veggies and leakage of food after cmg to house.Worst ever experience google is not willing to give negative stars.
Really good Mexican food. So far tried and enjoyed the beef fajitas and cheese enchiladas, beef tacos, rice and beans. All excellent. Jaritos, tea, and Coke products available. Queso also very good. Friendly service. Family run place, so I feel good giving them my business, too.
On the quest of finding an authentic Mexican restaurant in MJ we heard about Oscars and had to give it a try. There are two sides of the spectrum of authenticity. One side would be a Chipotle type chain and the other would be a hole in the wall restaurants that only locals know of. Oscars is closer to that hole on the wall side thankfully. The food was great and we had plenty of options like Tortas, Orchata, Churros, Burritos, Rice & Beans, and Quesadillas for kids. I love the atmosphere with the tip to the cap of local Mt Juliet features mural. The staff was incredible! My goodness the staff worked so hard and had the place looking spotless. This will become a regular staple for us and thankful they chose to come to MJ.The only downside was that we were driving in over on a Sunday and realized it was closed. I think all Oscars tacos are all closed on Sunday's. First Chick-fil-A, now Oscars. Oscars better have a good excuse like Chick does :)
I've been wanting to stop in here ever since I saw that a location was coming in. I've been excited to try it and have had a few friends speak very highly about it. I've got to say I was a bit let down. My burrito was good, but everything else we got was just meh.I'll give them another try sometime I guess, but definitely not in my Top 5 places to think of when I want Mexican food in Mt Juliet.
Local resident. First time visiting Oscar’s. Totally blown away at every aspect of this experience. From the young lady taking orders to the food and clean bathrooms. This place is unique in so many ways! For lunch I ate the Surf & Turf Burrito. Chips and Salsa was great as well. Totally reasonable prices! The place was packed and the service was quick and easy! We can’t wait to come back! Everyone should give this place a chance!
Their Carne Asada burrito and El Pastor Taco are really good. I really enjoyed it!
Food was so good! We got chicken nachos with queso and Carne asada fries. Food was fresh, fast, and delicious. I was not a fan of the strawberry lemonade. I was able to swap it out with a Mexican soda.
Best Oscar's by far of any of them. I drive an extra 15min just to come to this one.
