Fozahn was out hibachi cook. He did a great job! Food is delicious and the staff was great. It was a bit warm inside but it is hibachi after all. Will be back. Sushi was good if you just need a quick fix. Again, go for the hibachi!

Food was delicious and service was great.

The food was, without a doubt, the best hibachi-prepared Japanese cuisine I have ever had the pleasure of having dance across my taste buds. The cook used freshly minced garlic which really brought out more of the sweetness of the soy sauce as well as the complementary taste of the garlic. The waitress we had was very attentive, present, and patient with our questions about the new menu (first time being there since it was Wasabi). Everyone was energetic and friendly, as well as skilled and professional. Make this your next stop to dine in when you're in Providence (fair warning, do your best to make it for lunch as the Hibachi menu is essentially half off between noon and 2PM. You'll avoid spending $50/person that way).

Excellent place for Japanese Steakhouse experience. Staff and service were excellent and food was delicious!

This is the worst representation of Japanese Tonkatsu Ramen. Everything is not cooked in the right way. The noodle are wayyyy over cooked, they catfish you on the egg, so on. Avoid Tonkatsu from this store.

It pains me to write such a review, but it's unfortunately our experience. We were traveling for a tournament and staying at the Home2Suite at walking distance. We love sushi so it seemed like a match made in heaven... oh no... First, when we arrived, there was a wait, but no one at the desk to take our names for the waiting list. So we already waited like that until someone decided to come and give us a second. We were seated in a back room, by the sushi bar. The Hibachi was full, I hope it's good, but we didn't try it. For at least 5 items I wanted to order, from the menu, I heard "sorry, we don't have that". The beer we got, on tap, was warm and not bubbly at all. We complained, the waitress started laughing. We were already thinking it was a bad choice at that point, and we didn't order any more drinks. We order green tea, we got black tea. (cups and teapot all had a blacktea bag) Our kids got their meals and were done eating before we got our appetizer. When our rolls arrived, they were the tiniest thing I have ever seen. The salmon roe didn't look fresh, and again, the waitress laughed it off. We shouldn't have eaten it, we paid for it during the night. The manager said he had just acquired this place. Well, good luck. This is a disaster, he needs to hire a real sushi chef who would see that the fish is fresh or not, who can make roll faster. And he needs wait staff that can do their job. Worst sushi ever, worst service ever.

Upon walking in there is a full size bar but upon ordering a beer I was told they are not serving alcohol due to not having a liquor license. This is not a big deal but a sign at the bar would have been nice. The waiter and chef were both very pleasant although we did have to ask for refills every time we needed them. My main reason for giving two stars is that when the chef pulled up the cart with our food on it the tray of raw meats was on the bottom rack two inches from the ground and uncovered! The trays were also stacked on top of each other. Raw veggies on bottom with raw meat on top. I know everything is cooked on the hibachi table but there needs to be some regard for cross contamination. With the meat being exposed so close to the ground any number of things could have come in contact with it. Both my husband and I did not feel well after dinner. I really wanted to like this place as we both love hibachi and the options are limited in Mount Juliet but sadly, we won’t be returning.

Had lunch with a friend. Food was yummy. It was a little slow getting to the table, but that means (hopefully) it was cooked fresh. Service was sufficient and just ok. No refills offered. She did check on us. Will go back for hibachi. She had veggie bento box. I had teriyaki chicken and fried rice.

Horrendous service. Good food except they ran out of miso soup and clearly served plain chicken broth. There was also no alcohol available due to an issue with their liquor license. Waitresses clearly struggling and manager sits in a booth texting. And there were 5 tables that were dirty and needing to be bussed as we waited for our chef. Chef was great and food from him was good!

Everything was wonderful from the service, seating, appetizer, and main course, well mostly...the dessert was disappointing. The mochi that I ordered were still cute pink round, but elsewhere they're served soft and chewy. The ones I got served here were hard and chalky with ice cream completely melted inside. Sad ending to a wonderful meal.
