I got a takeout meal, Keywest Chicken and Shrimp (12.99), a Caesar salad (2.39) and seasoned rice side. and this is what I received: 2 Shrimp and a meager side salad and a tiny cup of rice. Every time I've ordered this in the restaurant I received 6 shrimp, at least a full serving or rice, and a much larger side salad. The salad itself already had dressing dumped on it when I received it so by the time I got it home it was already wilted, not even to mention the salad is made out of a single leaf of lettuce. I am extremely disappointed, I hadn't had an issues in my previous visits but after this I'm not going back to this location.
I've always given five stars but this particular night my utensils were dirty, the knife literally had food still on it, that threw the whole meal off we asked for plastic utensils which she did provide my sister had t-bone steak it was so much fat on the steak more than meat, my broccoli casserole had a real foul smell to it. Other than a great host everything else was fine.
A 4 star rating is only because of the amazing server we had. Whereas the food was mediocre (at best), our server was absolutely awesome! I'm pretty sure that he said his name was Rob but it might have been Ron.Honestly if it weren't for him being so "on point", we would have probably asked to return the food. He was so good that we didn't even have the heart to complain about the food.Kudos to this location for employing such a pleasant & attentive server, but please educate your cooks on the importance of flavor (even if it's just a dash of salt & pepper)!
Cheap quality food for the price.
So by me traveling out of town back and fourth I decided to hit up this spot. Haven’t been in Cheddars in a min due to the menu changing. Just not a lot of selections. So I stick to what I know and usually eat. Something quick and easy. To be truthful the only reason why I come to this restaurant is because the bartender. He always made me feel welcome and not uncomfortable. Heck even time from time he recommends stuff.Thanks to Shawn I’m able to get in and out! After being on the road for so long. One thing I can say ,he can mix some drinks. Also has good customer service experience. Third time coming in off the road and he stays ? % with a good attitude and ( working his butt off ). If he’s not making drinks . He taking orders to cleaning. To stocking staying busy . I’m observed person. So I peep stuff. Stuff like that makes me feel like I’m in good hands. Alot Resturant employees be slacking. Though this location I feel comfortable at and know I’m get good excellent service ,especially from Shawn. Cleanest is everything to me and my food being hot!!!!I make sure I tip him and let him know… thank you for having good energy! Need more kindhearted and good vibes in this world…
Visited with wife, grandson and two children for dinner. Waited 30+ minutes to be seated. Server had at least 5 other tables, so was slower getting things---drinks, croissants, salads, but was cheerful and working hard.Food came, some items cold, and most just not up to standards on taste. Chicken fried chicken was good but chicken fried steak was awful. Shrimp greasy. For almost 100 bucks not a very good experience.This location has been hit or miss for the last two years and the blame falls squarely on management as other restaurants in the area always have staff and quality service and tasty food. Not sure why we even return.
Haven't been to Cheddar's in a long time and this was the first experience that wasn't top notch. The restaurant was not busy and you could see they were short staffed. The food took almost an hour to come, didn't seem fresh, well made, and items were missing. The sauces all tasted wierd too. Our server seemed new but was very nice. I also noticed the phone at the hostess stand was off the hook the whole time. I guess they don't take phone orders when short staffed? This was all very odd, because I've visited many Cheddar's in the past. All were extremely busy, service and food were all top notch and fast. Including past visits to this location. Hopefully this isn't a trend but I'm no longer going to look at Cheddar's as a good place to bring out of town guests until I have a better experience.
We were seated at a dead table for like 15 minutes with no service, but after that, our food was SO GOOD, the server, Levi, who came to our rescue was an absolute joy, and that made up for it completely! He was so kind and professional, with an energy that made our night. I'm only here in Tennessee for a week, but I definitely hope to go back at least one more time before I go home to Georgia. We have a Cheddar's where I'm from, but it's one of my favorite restaurants so I'm glad there was one here!
Waiters are very nice(especially Lucky) the only bad part is I got a a medium steak but it came out raw to medium raw also mashed potatoes were cold. But definitely ask if lucky is working. He is one of the best waiters I have ever had.??
We had an excellent server who did the best she could to make our dinner a good experience. Some of the food was undercooked, and not very good. Usually, Cheddar's is a solid choice, but I am not sure about this one. We may try it again when we are back in the area.
