I like shopping local. I think it’s important to support local businesse. However, not a good experience today.- Worker made me feel like it was a burden for me to be in there. His demeanor said to me “please for the love of all that is good just leave” as soon as I walked in. Went in around lunch time. Only a few people in there and I was the only one in line.- It seemed as though every item I asked for I was followed up with “that’s gonna cost a little extra is that ok?” Extra for onions and peppers? Wasn’t expecting that.- portion size. I ended up paying over $15 for what seemed to be a kid’s meal. The server made sure and give me a properly sized portion of steak which he measured out and used another spoon to knock off any that exceeded the serving size. I got a few bites of steak during the meal.I’m not a mean guy, just disappointed. The guac was amazing, but I think I’ll go back to Moe’s across the street.
If you order for pick up make sure you check order before you leave. Consistently getting order wrong and their customer service is terrible! I guess that's what you get when everyone working there is still in high school and is more interested in screwing around than being helpful.
Visited for the first time while visiting family over Thanksgiving holiday. Arrived at 6PM (2 hours before closing) and ordered take-out. To be honest, when browsing the meats and veggies, not really anything looked appetizing. Ended up getting the steak, which was decent, but not great.Usually at places like these I get the sauteed veggies too, but the onions and peppers looked to be soaking in a large amount of what appeared to be just water... Decided against trying that :/Rice and beans were average. Guacamole helped with the taste. Sweet tea was less than average - not very sweet and not much tea taste either. Their special fruit tea was okay.Overall: other places like this do much better. I don't live in the area, but when I come to visit I probably wouldn't return.
Got a steak quesadilla today and after I noticed they didn’t put the steak in and I reminded them and they literally still forgot to put the steak in when I went to go get my drink .... these kids must be stoned or just simple minded , Thanks blue coast for the 12$ olive quesadilla...
I loved Blue Coast Burrito before this time because their food is absolutely delicious. But their amazing service is what prompted me to leave this review because i hardly ever even leave google reviews.On Halloween I was having some people over and ordered pick up from there. My mom went and picked up the food and when she got back I realized they’d left out the queso and guacamole on my order. It wouldn’t have even been a big deal but my friend’s young son has a lot of food allergies and he just loves guacamole so I had ordered it just for him. My mom called the restaurant and they apologized and actually drove to my house and brought us the queso and guac! It turned out they were in the middle of shift change and the order had actually been put in incorrectly. Mistakes happen, but they went above and beyond to make it right and I was just so grateful.
Fast service! Great food. Better than Chipotle. We come almost every Tuesday for family days!
UPDATE....This place is the WORST!!! Has anyone else heard the way that they talk to their employees??? Yeah the food is fine and the staff work really HARD(they seem to be the only ones holding the place together) but the management is incredibly disrespectful and demeaning to the staff. I can't support a business like this. I will most definitely NEVER be back!!!Jenny.....I would like you to know that I do not wish to email you privately, as this should be a public matter. It happened in a VERY public setting. I do not remember the time nor day( as I went in often). However, I went in often enough to know the names of the "managers" involved. Jeff and Darren. The victim/staff member was new....even if I knew the name I would not disclose it, because I do not wish to embarrass them any further than the "management" already has! I do not personally want ANYTHING out of this....only that the staff be more respected.
Best burrito I've had in years. Nothing like it in Nashville. It's a real whole big burrito ?. Yummmmmmy
First time here. Friendly staff but no greetings. I was confused on where to start, so I asked and was greeted with a smile. She directed me to the area I needed and told her this was first time. She explained the type of shells they have and what they do to fulfill the order. I got the grilled steak. Like in other reviews they was right its salty as sin lol Other than that it was ok. If I return will try a different protein. Abs ask for hot sauce on the burrito. Over atmosphere was cozy.
Friendly servers great food with lots of options and reasonable price.
