an employee, off the clock, had her puppy in the store for at least 45 minutes. she roamed all over the store and employees off the clock were coming out and holding and petting the puppy.
Yesterday at lunchtime, I ordered three subs to go. There was such a large amount of mayonnaise and/or dressing on them that they were soggy. They were almost impossible to eat as they fell apart when you picked them up. A major disappointment!
This was my first visit to Firehouse Subs. I ordered a sub and a cup of soup to go. I had to wait a few minutes for my order, which is fine, but when I got home with it and opened my sub, it was not what I ordered at all. I had ordered the brisket sub and I had the Philly cheesesteak with peppers and onions, which I can't eat because peppers tear my stomach up. I was already home with my shoes off. I wasn't going back. It just makes me leary about ever trying them again. The soup was good. There was only one pack of crackers.
I really like the sandwiches and the store is always clean when I go. They always greet me and I get my food pretty fast considering they steam the meats
I love firehouse subs and have ever since I first visited them in Jacksonville fl when I was younger.
My sister and both love their subs, it a 50 mile trip for us, but the food and staff are always outstanding, we do not have any shops in the tri-city area, maybe they will open a store in VA.
Showed up to eat here when they opened at 10:30. Has been waiting for over 20 minutes anyway but was in the area and never around the area. Was really looking forward to eating here. They literally open the door just to tell me that they cannot open because they were under staff but there was three or four people in there
We go out of our way to eat at Firehouse Subs. The food is hot and fresh. The staff is friendly. The dining room is always clean.
Food was fantastic..love the choices of the freestyle Coke machine. Granted we were there after lunch.. table could have been cleaned before we got there.. service areas should have been a priority to stocking chip selection..I understand I manage a fast food establishment..my husband not impressed. I'll return because of great food.
