Absolutely terrible. My food was extremely greasy. I had to go to the ER after eating there because I got so sick I couldn’t eat anything else. I got an infection in my stomach and intestines from bad food! Everyone that got it that day in my family has been sick ever since! I will NEVER eat here again! I loved Akita don’t get me wrong, but after seeing posts about people finding maggots in their food and my own personal experience never again!!

5/18, Try the steak it’s really good!4/2022, I checked out this locally popular Japanese take out place and I am pleasantly surprised! I know Japanese food well and certainly didn’t expect too much from a restaurant in a small TN town.So I ordered the Hibachi chicken, see pic. The size is big (Huge actually) lots of chicken, mushrooms and carrots. Rice is also included. The sauce came separately and I like that. I only needed half of it and really enjoyed my dinner. Be aware that the line during peak time is very long.. I was told.Went back to try the Teriyaki chicken today.. sweeter this time. But wonder why the same source?

I've never had Japanese food with the vegetables come out of the can or Frozen...nasty waste of 27.bucks . Hibachi chicken no that was little pieces chicken thrown on a griddle .
One of my favorite places in town. I've been eating at this place since it opened so many years ago it seems. The food is always cooked to perfection and everything is so tasty. My go-to meal is the hibachi chicken and shrimp. It never fails to be delicious. Each meal comes with Broccoli, Carrots and mushrooms as well as one container of sauce. Usually one sauce container will do it for me but sometimes I get a little wild and get extra ?.
Whoever heard of a drive-thru hibachi place. This place was great. The steak was the best of any steak I've ever had at any one of these type of places. We did the drive-thru and it was quicker than most hamburger places. Staff was great. We bought one meal and shared it between us and it was plenty. I highly recommend this place
Excellent food!!! I have tried only the Teriyaki chicken and Teriyaki steak, but both are incredibly delicious and the sweet carrots are incredible.
Extremely friendly employees. Quickest hibachi grill around. Great hot food. Price is a little steep, but amount and quality is most certainly sufficient. Drive through does stay busy so you might wait a few minutes in line but food is always fresh. Also great place to dine in for lunch and have food leftover for dinner! Akita is one of my favorites!
