Worth the trip! Been wanting to come here for years since we saw Uncle Lou on DDD. We are visiting from Detroit and gotta say it’s WORTH IT!! Best biscuit I ever had and the fried chicken is out of this world. We even got to meet Uncle Lou and he’s as friendly as he seemed on TV. The sauce is something unreal! Make sure you don’t miss this on your trip to Memphis.

Sweet spicy love honey biscuits. The best ever
I don’t have the words to eloquently express how great this chicken was; but when you first bite into you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about. The amazing sweet tea was an added pleasure.Worth the stop. Worth the price. Wish I could do more than 5 stars honestly.
We ordered a chicken meal. We stop on our way thru to Alabama. The biscuits were good, and the sauce on the chicken was really good. We ordered spicy but it was not spicy to our standards (to be fair we use carolina reapers. and habaneros, often while cooking). The bathrooms need attention terribly though. Other than that the staff was nice and the food was fast.
Saw on Diners Drive-ins and Dives. Was not disappointed. The biscuits were amazing and the the burgers were great as well but the fried chicken was one of the best fried chicken I've ever eaten. Will definitely be returning next time we are in Memphis
Best chicken I have ever eaten. The service an staff were amazing. Uncle Lou himself came out and greeted our family. My daughter tried to buy a couple of extra biscuits and they gave them to her for free! You will not regret the stop!
The chicken Is fried to perfection! Just the right amount of batter and sauce! The biscuits are incredibly good as well. Haven't tried all the sides yet but everything I have tried is good! Good job Uncle Lou!
Definitely get the kool-aid its delicious! that sweet spicy love sauce is good but the spicy isn't as spicy as I'd like but still delicious. Don't forget the honey butter biscuits. Definitely don't leave without dessert the chess pie and the strawberry shortcake! I give it a 4 because I was expecting a little spicier.
