Order mostly from Door Dash. Food is usually pretty good and arrives quickly. However, 4 times in a row we have had smoothies delivered with no straw. The last 2 times I paid for edible straws hoping that would ensure getting one….nope. I have called several time and never get an answer and DoorDash is certainly no help. Maybe this will get a response.
This location’s app overcharged me. I have spoken with corporate several times. Management called me back once since the incident and stated they were issuing me back the difference on my same card that is in my app/rewards. Her name was Shelley. She did not update the notes for corporate to even see and I have never received my money. No one answers the calls at 765 N. Germantown. This is awful and makes all the tropical smoothie cafes look bad. They are all franchised by different people. I will take further action as I now feel this was done on purpose and they make extra money from people this way.
I frequent this location very often but lately the quality and consistency of the smoothies have been horrible. The employees in charge of making the smoothies are allowing the blenders to run without paying attention which results in a watery smoothie. Unfortunately, today the smoothie that was given to me was so poor in quality that I had to go inside to have them remake it. The moment I walked through the door, NO ONE greeted me and when I nicely explained what was going on the young lady had an attitude. To add to this, it also seemed like the coworkers were conversing about the matter . (I’m not 100% sure though). However, I hope that this review is read thoroughly so that this location’s quality is back to standard. Until then, I won’t be returning!
(Sat May 14th 2022) First of all.. where's management?! I called to the store at 7:16p.m to place an order by phone (avocolada 1/2 turbo, instead they gave me the full amount), and was told they no longer do orders by phone. So I placed it online, as I've done in the past, drove around to the drive thru for pick up (around 7:21pm), and was told I have to come inside for online orders. How are folk suppose to know this when we've been told, since covid to pick up in the drive thru? I was then told to go ahead and pull around (by a foreign young lady). After 5 cars ahead, I get to the window and the (African American) young lady tells me that I have to come inside. I explained, that I'd already been told otherwise. I also asked when did the policy change?.. she shrugged her shoulders. I asked for management, she tells me they don't have one. This location NEED GUIDANCE, ASAP! Because as someone else stated, I've also encountered issues with correct closing times, and workers being on the phone, while fixing smoothies. Too add, as I sit here continuing to write this review(8:03p.m), the same African young lady, sitting outside waiting for her ride, didn't even bother to tell a group of people that they were closed, as well the police officers who followed behind. She just SAT there with her leg kicked up, and watched them go all the way in the Smoothie shop (mind you door wasn't even locked) where they then found out it was closed... can you say LOWDOWN?!
These folks are horrible.. out of all the Tropical cafés I visit they are the most inconsistent with the worst customer service. They always are changing the hours or closing the inside randomly. Just go up the street to smoothie king. Today they said they close at 8:50pm, now I'm no expert but I thought businesses closed on the hour or half hour like 8:30 or 9 ...just say you don't want to serve another customer but don't make stuff up.
They were super busy. The line wrapped around the building. So I went in to place my order. I ordered the Mango Magic. It was really good. I definitely will visit again!
Tried to pick up a doordash from the inside at 7, door was locked. Called to ask why it was locked at 7 if the door says the inside doesn’t close until 8. Was told in a smarta** attitude that unless I can unlock the door myself then she can’t help me, like I would even be calling if I could’ve unlocked the door myself. If it closes early bc of covid, that’s all that had to be said and at this point the door should be updated so such does not happen.
I ate at the TSC in north Little Rock last week and it was delicious. Apparently this store uses cheap ingredients. Iceberg lettuce runny chipotle sauce mushy tomatoes. They charge over 3$ for a chocolate chip cookie that was not very good the smoothie was ok. This franchisee cuts corners compared to other locations
This place ALWAYS closing early. The COVID hours for dinning inside is until 7:30pm. They already had the door locked at 6:55pm, but there are more than enough employees on the inside chilling.
My favorite is the chipotle chicken club flatbread with a kiwi quencher (w/spinach and kale super pack). My flatbread is ALWAYS hot. My smoothie sweet. And I could not ask for a better pick up experience. I eat here for lunch and breakfast occasionally. Fast service in and out every time. Awesome healthy options with real ingredients.
