It was featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Dive might describe it best for decor but if you go for food and not amenities then it's defintely a 5. I've had the pork BBQ several times - delicious. Beef Brisket plate this time with fancy rice and collard greens on the side. There were 6 sides to choose from. Brisket was even better than the pork BBQ. French fries are also better than most.
Everyone was very friendly and real! They have lots of food items but I decided to go with what was recommended by the one and only Guy Fieri from Dinner's, Drive-ins and Dives. The food was amazing and the sauce is off the chain... Highly recommend to stop by if you're in Memphis Tennessee ??
Hello….I am a truck driver and I team with my husband. He spoke very highly about this place. I ordered the smoked wings, greens and macaroni & cheese. OMGOODNESS the wings were dry as if they had been cooked in a dehydrator. They had not flavor, very dry and tuff. It was like eating jerky! The greens had a very nasty taste to them, And definitely undercooked. The Mac and cheese smh was super runny. No taste whatsoever!! Deviled eggs nasty no flavor. I got a Diet Pepsi that had expired January 22, 2022. This was my first and last time eating here. I could have gotten better food at the truck stop. Staff was nice
Good is great, but the 3 stars comes from this flimsily little spork that bends when you try to eat. Beyond frustrating. Until y’all can offer real utensils, I will definitely skip eating here.
The owner was nice and helpful it seemed to be a weird vibe and really no one there. I ordered the large pork shoulder sandwich plate which was delicious but the onion rings were so hard I couldn't eat them and the corn was cold.
Definitely different from Texas style BBQ.Tom's Barbecue Memphis was a delightful trip, it was very authentic.Must try the baby back ribs, these were extremely tender. We also ordered smoked chicken wings and oh boy what a treat.Everything was amazing, they have been featured on TV as well.Food ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I was in Memphis for management training. On our lunch break we stayed close to the facility. Luckily Tom’s was a short drive. It was on the list of suggested lunch places from our company. It is where I first got to taste and fall in love with pulled pork. Lots of great menu choices. I got the pulled pork nachos with jalapeño. It was tough with all their choices, but I usually gravitate towards nachos. They were featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives and they are not afraid to promote it. Definitely stop in here for lunch if you are in Memphis.
This place lived up to its hype! I was visiting some friends in Memphis and had to try out this place... especially because the meat they served is Halal - and of course because of the Guy Feiri fame. I am glad I did... My only regret is that I didn't order more and didn't go there more often during the trip. Went there on the last day while driving back home and I got the Baby Back Ribs, Brisket and the Smoked Chicken. Everything was DELICIOUS. Now, I can't wait to go back to Memphis! This place is legit awesome!
BBQ was just ok. Place was filthy. We love to hit DDD locations but this one was a disappointment. Staff was very friendly but the food was subpar.
