Just don't!!! I will give them that we had a large party (20 people), but also had reservations so they knew what to expect. We had a table reserved for when they opened for brunch so we were seated right away. That is the only positive thing I can say about our experience. It took 20 minutes to even put in our drink order, and Dave, our server, skipped my husband twice. I ordered a Manmosa, and I had to track him down to clarify the juice I wanted because he didn't ask. After sitting for ONE HOUR (no exaggeration) our drinks came haphazardly (I was offered 3 drinks I did not order) our food was no where to be found. In fact, after our drinks came over an hour into our visit, I was told what I ordered from their limited brunch menu was not a available. Why did it take so long for them to figure that out!? My husband had to order 3 different items that they were "out of" after just opening the doors, figure that out. Unfortunately, we had a 7 hour drive home so we had to cancel the food just to get out of there after an hour and a half of waiting. We could still see the ticket in the kitchen untouched so it was not going to be anytime soon. Seemed like a cool place, but that is by far the worst service I have experienced to date. Go ANYWHERE else!!!!!
Staff was amazing and the food was phenomenal! Highly recommended checking this place out! Thanks for an amazing meal!
I understand every industry is short staffed these days, but when you're extremely short staffed you have to make changes. Limit the menu. Reduce guest size. It doesn't appear that Paramount has taken this into consideration. We were seated right away for our 6:30pm reservation and then it took several minutes for anyone to greet us at our table and bring us water. After we placed our order, we thought our server quit mid-shift because we didn't see her anywhere. Finally someone from the kitchen brought out one of our dishes. We were seated so close to the open kitchen that you could hear all the drama going on back there. The kitchen staff was trying their best, but it seems like they didn't have enough runners. We had to ask for one dish twice. Overall, the food was good but after the service we had, we won't be back.
So exciting to the the “Bluff City Law” set transformed into an upscale restaurant! Great cocktails!
What a terrible experience. While away on business I saw this new very attractive restaurant with a great menu. So I decided to try it out on Thursday, February 17th. I walked in and looked at the bar to take a seat. The bartender asks if I was here for dinner and I answered yes. Before even sitting down the female bartender says, "we have a limited menu and the kitchen is closing at 8". It was 7:15!! Why even bother running a business? I took my money down the street. Sorry, you wont get a second chance.
I had been anticipating this restaurant for a week and was very disappointed. On February 19th my husband and I went to The Paramount for date night. Upon arrival the capacity of the restaurant was between 30-40%. We had a 6pm reservation and sat down immediately. We ordered Salmon Dip which was very good I might say and my husband ordered a Caesar Salad(10 pieces of lettuce, no lie) We ordered our food and it took almost an our for the food to come. Then to top it off, they sent my food to a gentleman directly across from me then the waiter walked to the back made a U-turn and brought it back to me(like I wouldn't notice) I asked them to remake it; but at this point I was agitated and hungry so I cancelled my order and we left. Our waitress Tammy was extremely nice and made efforts to make things better. Management needs to improve their work flow. Apparently there is not enough staff to accommodate guests especially during the weekend. We will NOT be back.
Service was good, they were obviously trying hard, however the food is far below standard. Could have enjoyed an excellent meal at Bishop or Gray Canary for a similar price (we finished at $50/person). Looks much better in photos than in reality- Doubt they will stay in business long unless menu is completely revised.
We were first timers and had an enjoyable dinner. The food was great!
Awesome menu! We had a party of 4 and ordered Bronzed Tuna, Purple Hull Peas Muscles and Crab Beignets for appetizers. The Garlic and Herb Crusted Fish and Cornbread and Andouille Stuffed Quail were delicious! Definitely returning to try other menu items
The ambience is amazing; I thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant. Our server, Travis, was knowledgeable, friendly and on point. We ordered the Pork Porterhouse with Mac& Cheese, and Brussel Sprouts as well as the Ribeye with Brussel Sprouts. Our small plate was the Crab Beignets: delicious, fried dough filled with crab meat! Drinks included the Director (red wine) and the Honey Thyme... Yum!
