The restaurant is right up the street from my job and I tried it out for the first time, highly recommend. Fast delivery and excellent taste for the cuisine.

Long week, but tons to celebrate, so we decided to not limit happy to an hour and visit The Liquor Store on Broad ?? #girlbossesuniteLove the The Liquor Store and the Bartender Nick is absolutely dope ❤️ Great Food Great Vibes Great Drinks!

My fiancé and I came here for breakfast! It was easily the best breakfast we've had in Memphis! We got the classic breakfast plate, I got the veggie sausage and he got the pork sausage! The veggie sausage was amazing! The vibes, the people, the food it's all so good! Our waiter Nick was amazing and answered so many random questions! The atmosphere is welcoming and inviting! The farm fresh eggs and the amazing food was out of this world! 10/10 recommend!!

NEVER AGAINRUDE & NASTYI ASKED FOR ONIONS TO TO BE ADDED TO MY HARD SCRAMBLED EGGS … they told me they can’t add onions…. After I ask the workers twice to be sure…. Otherwise I wouldn’t have got them.. then my eggs wasn’t scrambled.. but what place don’t add onions though… the cooks the only decent acting ppl… it’s one bartender “white male “ he was okay but he was nasty had a band aid on his finger while touching ppl fruit… with his bare hands right in my face … then the workers just don’t say excuse they just walk up behind you like you know to move.. some people walked out without paying .. and they was mad.. like almost the whole crew didn’t want to be there… the cool area too small.. the whole vibe throwed off .. if i didn’t pay up front I would’ve left

I don’t even know where to begin. I come to the Liquor Store 1 to 3 times a week depending on the week. It’s like a second home to me. When i’m not at home, i want to be here. Not only is the food great, it’s really just the whole experience. The bartenders, the staff, they’re just all amazing. When David and Nick are behind the bar, I know it’s gonna be a good time. Those dudes are the best. And don’t even get me started on the biscuits and gravy. The kitchen really knows what they’re doing back there whipping it up, those guys are awesome. I may never finish a full meal but it’s still worth it every single time. Whether you live in Memphis or you’re visiting, it’s definitely a must stop for any breakfast connoisseur, like myself. I dream about the Liquor store. Thank you.

My family and I visited The Liquor store diner for the very first time. The friendliness of the staff was great. We waited 45 minutes for service due to the place being so small and full of customers. We were fine with that..because of the reviews, we had high expectations. Food was bought out to us in a timely manner, however there was an older guy with long gray hair that kept grasping and pulling his hair back serving and waiting tables. My family and I noticed it and just hoped that he would not be the one to bring our food out. while eating I noticed a black short strand of hair in my eggs. I showed the the waitress and she took my plate and had another side of eggs bought out. This side of over medium well eggs were brought out in less than a few minutes, but the inside of the whites were not done. I never received an apology or anything. But we did receive a bill totaling $50 which included a gratuity tip of $7.00 for a party of 3. My husband, my daughter and myself. 3 breakfasts…ham, eggs and 2 pancakes. The food was just ok. Overall ⭐️⭐️. We will not be back.

Was about the only place to have lunch in the Broad Avenue arts area, otherwise given the long wait would have gone elsewhere. The servers were hustling so it must be that the kitchen just can’t turn out meals fast enough. The food was nothing special. They try for a tropical vibe, but their Cuban sandwich wasn’t authentic (they need to get a panini press and the right bread). OK if you are in the area but I wouldn’t go out of my way.

Biscuits the size of your face, and the drinks are delicious! I think I found my new weekend brunch spot.

The food is delicious and the decor has a tropical whimsy vibe. The Cuban sandwich is on point and the bread is correct. My only negative is my server was less than pleasant and forgot items that ordered as appetizers and then they appeared after we finished our entrees. He also ignored me on 5 different passes by my table. His service (or lack thereof) is the only reason I can't give 5 stars.
