The catfish was amazing and wonderfully seasoned. The Mac and cheese rich and peach cobbler delicious. They were closing so I got takeout. Once in the parking lot I had trouble with the parking brake on my rental car. I asked the owner who was in the parking lot for help and he was so gracious. I can't thank him enough.
Literally, this has been the best part of our journey down south. I have watched the Google commercial highlighting this restaurant for almost a year, and decided to make a trip from NYS to check it out. Plus, frequent other fine Memphis tributes. The food was worth the wait! The macaroni and cheese was unlike any other I have tasted. The gooiness of the cheese sauce baked into the elbows was pure perfection. Not overly seasoned, which was a plus. Allowed for the cheese to flourish. Absolutely delicious! ? I am not a huge catfish eater, but when down south I partake. Up north, haddock. East, flounder. Out west, cod or tilapia. I must say..., this catfish was on point. 2 big fillets, lightly seasoned and fried to perfection. I couldn't even eat the second piece. The green beans and cornbread were tasty too. I love green beans with onions sautéed within....., they were perfectly seasoned. My son adored the cornbread, fries, and lemonade. We also purchased slices of strawberry cake and lemon meringue pie to go. Haven't ate it yet, too full from lunch, but betting it will be amazing too. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience at this legendary established frequented by past greats and future wonders. The staff were absolutely phenomenal, polite and charming. If I make it to Memphis again..., this stop is a must.
My first time visiting Memphis and of course, this restaurant was on the list. As advertised, 4 way is 5 star in every area. The baked chicken, greens and mac n cheese were absolutely delicious!

I lived all my life in Memphis so I decided to dined here today although the food was good up to when I found hair in my food. I told and showed a staff member the hair I was not in offered my money back I was asked did I want something else. Are you freaking serious I had to leave I was so upset. To avoid confiscation I left will not visit again
Came with friends to get chicken and vegetables and was not let down. The Memphis area is a bid dicey at time so we went earlier and had no issues. Good food, good staff.
Good dressing But I did a bad experience there it was a bug in my greens ? I uploaded the picture maybe a year ago I see they took it down! That's fine! I still just love the dressing there so I'll still oder that ONLY! ON SUNDAYS ONLINE IT SAT OPEN @ 11:00 I CALLED NO ANSWER SO MY HUSBAND GOES UP THERE NOT EVEN OPEN and that was @ 1:00 pm Sunday??♀
10 out of 10 would recommend! Service was great & the food was amazing - THE best Mac & cheese I’ve had in years!! Parking is easy & the building is super accessible. Definitely will be adding this to my favorite soul food places in Memphis!
Food was excellent. There were 7 of us from Tx. We were full and enjoyed the VIP. Much love and respect for this restaurant. Totally great people and food.
