Stopped off for lunch here last week whilst on a short trip to Memphis. Beautiful old building, lovely warm chatty staff, nice ambience but typical pub grub food that was just so-so. Nothing to write home about, nothing to give out about and nothing to get excited about. Fish and chips with tartare sauce served in a plastic container. Next please.

Excellent, excellent, EXCELLENT!! From the food, to the staff, to the decor, and even the location,I have nothing but rave reviews about The Brass Door. It's an Irish restaurant that makes you feel at home no matter where you're from. As soon as I entered I felt as if I were coming home being greeted by lifelong friends. It was a very relaxed atmosphere but the food was on par with any fine dining establishment and the Irish options on the menu provided a uniquely Irish twist that certainly did not disappoint! The drinks from the bar were refreshing and not diluted and the staff from the front to the back of the house were honestly beyond reproach! Will I be back? You can guarantee that! And I'm telling everyone to please not make the mistake of overlooking this location on your next Memphis stop!

Very cozy and personable staff. They always make the pre and post games for Memphis sports extra special.

Wonderful brunch. I had the full Irish breakfast. The various sausages and puddings was delicious. My wife had the Ruben egg rolls loved the. She did not like the Irish coffee it was too weak

This is the very best bar in Memphis for viewing all UK/Irish sports matches with the warmest of Irish welcomes. The owner, Seamus Loftus, and his excellent bar staff including Katrina could not have been more welcoming. He very kindly opened at 9am on a Saturday so we could watch an English 3pm Premier League match. He also taught me how to pour a pint of Guinness! The Brass Door is on Madison Avenue a very short walk from Beale St if you're staying anywhere central. Seamus is from Mayo, and his pub has an excellent range of GAA and British sports shirts on the wall. The best bar in town if you're feeling far from home!

If you are a soccer fan you MUST watch a game here! Great atmosphere to grab a Guinness and watch a Premier League match!

Closed two hours early on a Saturday. Walked in and saw people sitting at the bar, but was quickly shooed out by a waitress. Guess they just close down early and let their friends hang out and drink? Thanks a lot.

First time in had the Reuben Egg Roll, they were delicious! Very reasonable for downtown. Friendly atmosphere.

So this is a fine Irish joint, but the surprise is the food. So good. The fried goat cheese appetizer was something I’ve never tried and it was amazing. The fish n chips as well. Staff friendly and accommodating. I would come back here.

We loved it here! Kaitlyn rocks & the food/ drinks were top notch
