Rain began as we realized hardly anywhere was open this Sunday afternoon. "How about there?" I asked my colleagues. Others didn't want "bar food," so they declined. Ten of us gave it a shot. We lucked out. Bryan at the bar was cool, cordial, with an eidetic memory for our orders. The bathroom was immaculate. There was a band performing in the backstage. Our food, ranging from burgers with cayenne rubbed fries to shrimp and grits, was excellent with quality ingredients. The other customers were relaxed and were enjoying their food. As thunder growled, the scene at the Bluff was calm. We couldn't help the pun: "The Bluff was not bluff." It's definitely not just a bar. Stop by if you're visiting U. Memphis or simply passing through Midtown Memphis.

Excellent quaint place to grab a bite and check out some local music.

Needs better bouncers and supervisors. There’s more underage teens drinking and acting crazy at night then there are people over 21. Food is good but other than that this place is falling apart. 16-18 year olds get in every night no problem with fake IDs. You’d think they’d realize by how they act. Waste of time and money at night. Teenagers ruined the whole atmosphere of this bar by acting immature

Menu was deceiving. Order the Thibodeaux Fried chicken. The menu states homemade tenders but they only give you one tender. Bartender was good. Will not come back. Food was ok. Barstool were very uncomfortable.

They have 1 bartender that was literally taking care of 50 people which is crazy. Krystal did an amazing job and the best she could but this place could definitely use more servers during brunch hours. Me and party felt so bad for our bartender/waitress so we had to make it right by giving her amazing tips!

Favorite go to Sunday brunch spot. The food is excellent, staff are friendly and it's always a good time. Mimosas are to die for. Will always return and bring friend and family here.

the food is great and the bartenders/ servers are phenomenal

Loved the band and the mimosas were nice we had brunch but the fried tomatoes omg!! Fabulous
