We stopped here because it said "lunch buffet". It was a SMALL buffet. I didn't see the price anywhere but assumed because it was so small we assumed it was affordable. There wasn't a sole there either. The service was good. But then--- FIFTY dollars!!!They charged us $50 for 2 adults at lunchtime! Mind you, no lamb, no shrimp. I was shook. Not even close to worth $50.
We made a quick stop here unexpectedly. We love having Indian food when we can. Chili chicken was recommended to us and it was very fresh and full of flavor. I usually order butter chicken at Indian restaurants because it’s a favorite of mine, but I’m so glad we tried something different. Not too spicy. Just yummy. Also had a samosa, rice, and naan. All excellent. Definitely hope to come back. Some of the reviews seem a little harsh here. The staff was attentive and friendly. The price seemed similar to other Indian restaurants locally. Glad to have a new place in Memphis. Give them a try. You might like it.
I was soooo hungry and it was sooooo good that I ate it all before I thought to take a picture. Here’s the one I took as a place holder to remind me to review this place. The staff was very attentive. I loved my palak paneer and my buddy really liked her food too. She even finished her plate later that evening in the hotel after a music festival
A family-like environment serving a more authentic and healthier taste. My wife & I were impressed by the whole wheat in the Naan and plenty of aromatic spices in all dishes served. The portions were less than other Indian restaurants and yet still more than enough to fill the belly.
Worst restaurant I've been to in Memphis. I normally love Indian food but this place was absolutely terrible. You have to serve yourself - waiter didn't come around to refill drinks and was inattentive in general. Which I'm not above doing, but it was an annoyance given the price of the food. Entrees were around $16 average but severely lacking in quality. As other reviews have pointed out, the food was either undercooked or overcooked. No flavor, no presentation. Naan bread really was just pita bread that you can pick up from Whole Foods. You're better off going to literally ANY other Indian restaurant in town, getting food quadruple the quality, and paying half the price.
I ordered Tandoori Chicken through Uber Eats. And this is what they sent me. I order Indian food quite frequently and Tandoori Chicken is usually FULLY COOKED and RED. I will never order from them again!

It was date night and my husband and I wanted to try the new Indian restaurant in our neighborhood. Taste of India did not disappoint! The service was attentive, curries amazing and it was a filling meal. We took a menu home so we can order take-out in the future.
This does not represent Indian food. We had 2 different entrees by same name as other Indian restaurants and these were essentially soups on rice. And almost no flavor. The water was good and had no flavor but that was expected! More expensive than the other Indian restaurants for less quality.
This place is delicious! I had the butter chicken and garlic naan, and this food is so good it might be my new comfort food! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the service was top notch. All the staff were kind and very nice to my daughter, who is 6 and doesn’t always enjoy sitting still, lol. I will be going back for sure, and I’d recommend this restaurant very highly.
