Great food. Small portions with the sides. Service was very fast. I ate inside and they had flies in there. But other than that everything was great

I sincerely thank God for directing me to such a legitimate expert trader for me, called Mrs Donald Maureen For her perfect trading techniques, i invested with the little I was having, which was $500 and I earn $6,500 as profit in 6 working day's I highly recommend her for any person who truly want to trade for a better life, she guided me through my registration and trade for me too' I never paid any withdrawal. And my profits was paid-out successfully. You can contact her via Email: [email protected] WhatsApp +1 (563) 279-4193

This is hidden gem located on Beale Street! I felt like I was sitting at my grandmas kitchen table! It’s been such a long time since I’ve cleaned my plate at any restaurant!!! It was very well seasoned and I did not have to add any thing additional! It is black owned so that put the icing on the cake!!!

I came from MS just to try SugaShack. When we walked through the door I did not know if that was the owner or not but he seated us at the bar. The hospitality at this restaurant was amazing. I love how the workers came together to serve their guest. The food had the southern style taste to it which I loved. This will be my go to restaurant when I visit Memphis again. Thank you for the hospitality that was giving. If I could give 10 stars I would.

After three attempts at trying this restaurant we finally got in. Seems to be at capacity all the time. The food was delicious and the mimosas were perfect! My husband and I had a very enjoyable experience. Our waitress was pleasant, but seemed a bit overwhelmed by the number of tables she had. She brought our food out, but never came back to see if we needed refills or anything. We had to ask her for a refill and another mimosa. Definitely will return.

I saw Suga Shack on Black Restaurant week and couldn't wait to go there. They have parking on the side of the building, it's a very limited but at least you don't have to pay to park.. It's a small quaint restaurant lounge. There's no dance floor. There's a live band with Stephanie Bolton and Larry Springfield, I think that's his name, they were both great, absolutely great. We ordered the chicken fingers which were extra crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. The only thing I have negative to say about the lounge/restaurant is - I was surprised to see a cover charge on my bill when we checked out. There was no signage saying that there was a cover charge and no one asked for one when we walked in nor did the hostess tell us there was a cover charge. I was prepared to pay for the cover charge but at least let me know up front that there's a cover charge. Get there early as the tables filled up quickly and I think there's only 5 or 6 seats at the bar.

I celebrated my 41st Birthday here over the weekend, at this Hidden Gem. The music and atmosphere was amazing. Definitely plan to return.

Really enjoyed the time there. Great homely atmosphere. Food was good. No live band on a Saturdays. I think that's only on Thursdays. Must arrive early bc the lines form quickly. They opened at 11am on Saturdays. I arrived at 1030 to line up.

Walked in and was greeted immediately and seated. Our server was extremely professional. The singers and band were AMAZING! The food tasted as if someone's grandmother was in the back cooking. The drinks were superb. Atmosphere was awesome. This was my first time as well as my guest and will not be the last time.

I went on a Saturday afternoon for brunch. There was plenty of street parking and there’s parking behind the restaurant too. I was with a big group of 10 and we were sat quickly once most of our group arrived. Although there was no live band, the music was good. Our server was sweet. She got the drinks and food out fast. I had catfish and grits. It was delicious. If I didn’t have to eat with plastic silverware on a wobbly table, I would have given this place 5 stars. Also, I thought the “Service Charge” was confusing and super high at 20%. Either way, next time I go back, I’ll just sit at the bar.
