Best Breakfast I’ve had in years !!! !!!!!! Everything is homemade, if you don’t start off with a biscuit board, you’re wrong, as soon as you bite into the biscuit you know it’s made from scratch; hot, moist, and screaming for butter you can’t help it but say “OMG this is amazing”. The BACON, thick cut and perfectly cooked. I had the home on the range omelette and the eggs were fluffy, sausage had a light spice, and it came out piping hot. It was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Coffee here was also great, nothing super fancy, smooth medium body taste that was fresh and didn’t taste like it had been sitting in a pot all morning. Tropical Mimosa, that’s all I’m going so say, just drink one.This wouldn’t be a proper review without mentioning the staff, super friendly, southern, took care of us at every step of our meal “Bethany” was delight to have serve us, her personality alone would enough to come back for. The atmosphere was relaxed and very clean. Definitely recommend for repeat business. Normally I’d leave a beautiful food picture but instead I’ll leave a pic of my empty plate.
Let me first start by saying, I usually don’t leave reviews but I was very disappointed in the quality of the food and service. My wife and I decided to go out for breakfast on Sat 6/2/2022. I usually cook breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings to give my wife a break. Well we decided to get out and wanted to try somewhere that we had not been before. I should have left in the first 10 minutes. Waitress came and took beverage orders and I ordered a mimosa. When she brought it to the table it had red lipstick on the rim of the glass. I showed the waitress and she said she would get the bartender to make another one, well she returned in less than a minute and I’m sure she or he just poured it in another glass. To my order, I ordered country fried steak, scrambled eggs, grits, gravy and hash brown casserole ALL CAME OUT COLD!!!! Grits were bland, you would think the grits would be good (by the name of the restaurant) but they had no taste to them, eggs were cold CF steak was not good everything was horrible. My wife ordered turkey bacon, turkey sausage, eggs, grits, HB casserole, biscuits and her food was horrible as well. They brought out pork bacon and sausage even though she ordered turkey. Then on top of that the waitress didn’t offer salt/pepper, jelly, jam, honey, ketchup nothing. To top that off they added in 18% gratuity automatically. So needless to say, I will neeever go there again. I would not ever recommend them to anyone. This comes from a 20 year Marine that has eaten food for all over the world and would rather eat an MRE ( meal ready to eat, field rations)than to go there again.
Horrible food...a first 4 me to not get a carryout 4 leftover food.I told waitress I didn't even want to take it.cold thin gravy..chicken tasted old..grits horrible.but Grits are their signature dish
Not worth the wait honestly. Everyone is told the same wait time despite party size. It took 15-20 minutes to get a server to get water after being sat. The food was mediocre. Both dishes were extra salty and hard to cut the ham or chicken. The honey butter biscuit was dry. May have been better if we could have gotten a server's attention to get more honey or butter. Up side: Super friendly bartender during the wait even though he was rather busy.
Got to the restaurant and all parking around it required payment from a mobile phone. After wasting 20 minutes with that, got in a sat down. Restaurant was dirty, bathroom was dirtier, food was average and expensive with gratuity added in so service was lackluster. We will never come back to this one
I’m usually very pleased with their service, but Not this time. It took over 45 minutes to receive our food and the restaurant was not crowded when we arrived!!! The omelette was not prepared very well and runner didn’t bring all of our order out initially!!!. Sunrise is getting my money next time ❣️
Moesha B was an amazing server. She went above and beyond to make sure my party enjoyed our experience. The mimosas were great and the food was delicious.
Well it’s the south, so if you’re in a hurry or want to be rushed off when done still go because it’s worth the wait and you will have to sit a minute to get over the itis. Good food, good service and had a good laugh with the staff. This Charleston grits bowl was fantastic.
First off let me just say our waiter Moesha (like the tv show) was amazing. The food was great and she went above and beyond. I’m from Chicago so coming here made my experience a lot better. Can’t wait to come back.
Food was average but to be fair I didn’t have the grits but our server Moesha was awesome, will be back because of her. She was attentive,timely and very sweet
