The grease was old and therefore made the fish taste bad and greasy. The meal bordered on food poisoning. Corn and fries were reheated and the slaw was old. Please begin serving food with better than average quality.
I visit this location on 3-17-22, 3-18-22, First off the customer service was awful, then I ordered Kam chops got home and ready to eat the meat was pink and tough basically half done for the price you pay all the food should be well done and the customer service should be better than Chik- fil- la, but guess what it's not, so I did speak with a Mgr and she told me to I could get it replaced so I went on 3-18-22, ordered the same thing an I asked for okra, got home to eat and guess what one pork chop was ok but the second was half cooked and the okra was whole okra an it wasn't while at all it was slimy not whole at all so I was about to call again to report it but I said I wasn't I just won't return again I very disappointed. An also wherever I spend my money. I do expect good quality service as well as my food being cooked fully
Smothered pork chop and rice cabbage and yams... Best tasting soul food around. Friendly and fast service as well. Always correct.
I'm a door dasher the guy at the front counter in long dress didn't seem to care or wanted to check on us dasher orders that they can't make the food for the customer he was flat out rude and didn't sem to care about orders this is a shame to hire men that can't even care today is the 28 of Feb at 11.53 am and now the customer won't get there order
This is THE BEST COMFORT FOOD in town!!!! So far, I've had their fried green tomatoes, country corn, black eyed peas, macaroni n cheese, chicken and dressing, fried catfish, their unbelievable corn bread, and of course, their sweet tea. Every single item is a perfect 10! My son had their Shania wings today- they were HUGE, and smelled fantastic! He said they're the best he's had, and he's had MANY! The staff is magically kind, and you feel like you've known them forever- they called us by name on our second visit. At some point, if I can save room, I really want to try their desserts! Banana pudding, Carmel Calle, strawberry cake... That menu changes, but I trust that as delicious as their food is, it will be fantastic! Dimitri, D-Red, and all of the crew, Thank YOU for those "Sounthern Hands" . I felt at home, and the taste was like being at my Grandma's on a Sunday!!
Cashier could use some training on smiling and not seeking like everybody that comes in the door is a bother. The cabbage and porkchops were both pretty salty.
Every time I order something from Southern hands on Austin peay it’s expected for something to be wrong and that’s ridiculous. There are the moths in their tea irons and I ordered peach cobbler only to receive candied yams with a green bean inside of it. Their cooks are careless when preparing food and I will no longer be ordering from here after tonight
Who was hot fresh and great they kept the bar full with food the salad bar was good the desserts was great only thing is it's just too far out overall I give you 5 stars
Placed an order and they didn't ask if I wanted gravy. Pick the food up, check it and there's gravy ALL OVER EVERYTHING!! They acted like it was a major issue to do it right. I will NEVER come back here again! Customer service is horrible!
