The service is pretty good but the food is ok. The cocktail lack of nice presentation. Nice music and not too loud. Nice atmosphere.
I tried to contact the restaurant about this experience before writing a review, but they never answered me.I called in an order and was told it would take 45 minutes, which is fine. but once we got there (after waiting the full 45 minutes) my fiancé had to wait another 30 minutes to get our food- like our order never even got put in or something. Then, on top of that, one of the rolls we ordered was wrong. It was switched out for something with cilantro and cream cheese which was truly inedible for us. Really really bad experience for $68 plus tip. Overly expensive and bad customer service.
“The servers and the bartenders are the rudest people I’ve ever come in contact with. After ordering a simple water with lemon and an appetizer, forty minutes went by before I had to get my server’s attention about the order. Then, she proceeded to neglect my table, ignore my questions, and keep an attitude when I asked for an update. Finally, when another server was trying to tell me “the food just isn’t ready yet”, the server told me we could just leave without waiting. She had the worst attitude and told me not to return, as if I would ever set foot in the direction of this deplorable place who can’t train their servers.” From a friend of mine who was there tonight. I’m a server myself and I’ve never heard of such treatment. Shame.

Great food and service. We have only had sushi a few times, but the waitress was very helpful in helping us make some tasty selections. We would definitely recommend if you are in the Memphis area.
Surprisingly good for the south. Sashimi was fresh. House salad with crab was quite good. Reasonably priced.
Great food but terrible service.Our small party was sat down and ordered drinks. It took a while to get our food order ij but that's expected since we had a handful of guys.What upset us the most was that sushi came out one one plate and the server said "there is more coming" but it never did. They attempted to serve 3 people with one person's order. We tried to explain that 3 people ordered the same roll but the waitress said "all of it is right there" and "we should pay attention to our food, don't let one person eat it all"Then the finishing touch was that I was charged for a nigiri that wasn't even ordered by anyone at the table.Wanted to get that fixed but the waitress wouldn't listen.I just decided to pay the extra $5 for the mystery nigiri and move on with my night.Luckily I don't live in Tennessee, so the chance of returning is 0%
Service was outstanding, but the food was slow to come out. We arrived fairly early- around 6 pm- so it wasn't very busy. Everything was tasty and worth the wait.
Sushi is excellent but they started adding gratuity to take-out orders which is cool but it should be mentioned when ordering.
The food was absolutely amazing! I am glad a found this diamond of a gem downtown. There are a few sushi places in the downtown area but I would not recommend them. I highly recommend this place. Service was excellent, sushi was fresh, clean facility, and they have patio seating!
