Excellent soul food! We had the chicken and dumplings, the chopped steak, the fried chicken, and a variety of sides, and none were disappointing. The collard greens in particular were great, as was the gravy on the chopped steak. The mac and cheese is creamy and delicious, the black eyed peas were flavorful, and the fried chicken was to die for. The yams were super sweet, and the mashed potatoes and gravy were top notch.
Visiting in Memphis, Tennessee this week!!. Found this fabulous soul food place. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. I had the fried porkchop, yams, and greens. It was the best I have ever tasted. I have the pineapple upside down cake to go, can't wait ti taste it!! Definitely recommend this place to all and will come back when I visit again.
Food was good! And I loved the banana pudding brownie not going to lie I was a little skeptical at first about a banana pudding brownie but it’s delicious! Oh they v.i.p drink is fire as well
Food IS AMAZING.. Didn’t get a picture of the meal because soon as it got to the table, I didn’t even get a chance to take a picture.. I took one bite and it was over with.. Service amazing! Everything about the decor was amazing! They really put the soul in HEAVEN?❤️
This is a nice place to eat at and relax. Our Hostess Jackie was very friendly and informative. She helped my wife pick a platter to please her palate, and was eager to provide the appropriate professionalism and humor. The food was hot to the touch and very tasty. Everything was well cooked. The cornbread serving was skimpy, but the taste made up for the small portion. Macaroni and cheese casserole was fire, the greens was fire, cabbage fire, and the chicken breast was crispy, tender and well seasoned. Who ever is cooking in the kitchen is a Chef, real talk. Neither one of us could finish our meal. We ate, got that itis in full effect, and missed out on the dessert. This is the first place we've eaten at, on our first trip to Memphis and enjoyed the meal to the fullest. Thank you Soul Heaven, we pray that business keeps being a blessing to you and the community, and to whoever reads this, bow your head and pray along with us.
The food was fresh but that one piece of fish was not cooked all the way , I was not happy with that ?. Never went back , was to disappointed

A new Memphis gem! Soul Heaven recently opened for business. Signage is sparse, but they're easy to find across the street from the Red Roof Inn, one block off of I-55, and a short two minute drive north of Graceland Mansion.This is the food your grandma made (or you wish she could make). Authentic "good for your soul" food. Everything is delicious and you'll need a nap when you're done.Pay no mind to a couple grumpy reviews. A few of those come when opening a new kitchen.Green beans, mac & cheese casserole, country fried steak, mashed potatoes, corn bread, sweet rolls, banana pudding, cakes, fried chicken...just to name a few. ???

My food and my granny food was terrible I would not feed it to my dogs. The pot roast was greasy and very salty. The greens was salty. I messaged this company on facebook and they didn’t see anything wrong with the food I received. They also gave complimentary neck bones that was full of fat and just disgusting. Do not eat here! Do not order through doordash! The food is terrible Now. I’m a regular weekly customer until Yesterday evening I will not be returning and I suggest all other customers to not purchase meals here. It’s another soul food restaurant less than 8 minutes from this one on Brooks Rd have fresh tasty food there business hours are different but I will be going to Fabulous Flavors Restaurant 2063 East Brooks rd they have fresh food and would never let any food go out the door like this. I complained via facebook message and whoever manages that page wasn’t worried about my food they only stated sorry about my order. Just like the handwritten receipt note that says sorry. This is ridiculous. DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM HERE Please!!!
