I ordered a 3 pc and 4 pc fish dinner. I was very disappointed. Normally I'm pleased with my order. For the money spent my fish was toooo salty. One of my sides was incorrect. No I did not check the order because I had someone to pick up for me (I'm disable and could not go in) and the person picking up did not check the order. The main problem was the portion size of the 3 pc. The food costed too much. I will not visit them in the future. Very disapointed on this visit.

The name is misleading. nothing about how this food is seasoned (or lack there of) I would consider “soul food”.High disappointed. Nice comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. ....the prices are up the portions are down but the taste is still the same....amazing. thanks for feeding me....I order the fish basket (4 pcs catfish two sides) $24 actually two whole catfish split in half
Catfish only ok. Fries limp and cold Hush puppies cold. Salad had plastic tomatoes(in July!) Salad had no bacon. Cornbread stale. All overpriced.
This was a recommendation from the hotel staff at the Hilton Garden Inn. Excellent food with friendly and attentive staff. Very large proportions so you’ll definitely have a doggie bag if you desire. All in all a good time.
I'm not a seafood lover; but I LOVE SOUL FISH!!! Everytime I'm back home in Memphis, I make my way to one of their convenient locations. This was my first time at time at this location but it has the same great taste as their original location in "Cooper Young" and on Popular; but with my room for my legs.It's nice to come home to see that this franchise is still going and is expanding to other areas of the city.Soul Fish is for everybody not just seafood lovers
Date of our visit was 06/24/22. Day one of our road trip to visit family in Montgomery PA. I chose this place because of the positive reviews and we were not disappointed. We passed on an app and it's good we did because we couldn't have finished our entrees, which were the fried catfish & shrimp with fries, mac 'n' cheese and four piece fried catfish with fries and black eyed peas. Fish, shrimp and peas were awesome, all 5/5. Less impressive were the fries, mac 'n' cheese and puppies. Service was very good. Rosa took good care of us. Decor is contemporary, seafood oriented with a very relaxing ambiance. Recommend and would return.
Food was really good, best fried shrimp I've ever had, catfish was a little thin on meat but great flavor, shrimps were huge.. had Mac and cheese that was also delicious
Had dinner at Soul Fish cafe after a long time. The fish is always fresh, but the fries wasn’t so good. Fried okra seems to be the best side. Besides fish, the medium rare burger was better than expected at a fish place.
Soulfish wolf chase is a bad idea if you are ordering take out. It is a bit pricey to say you are getting a filet but it’s just strips of fish. This is my 3rd time ordering take out and the fish is so hard me or my kids can’t enjoy. If you are dining in, your food will be what you expect but DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!!
