I didn't go here to eat. I came here to hang out with friends and have drinks. Great service. Good drinks and opens later than other places.
Highest quality sushi in Memphis, you pay a little more than other places, but the quality of worth it. My favorites are the Ariel roll, Firebird Roll, and the 40 Kel roll. Also highly recommend the gyoza with the spicy ponzu.
We drive all the way from Midtown for SPR, even if it's only for take out :) Jenny is the BEST but the whole team is awesome. Great assortment of menu items and I especially love how the sushi menu has plenty of different flavor options and lots of choices for fish-lovers (not just "spicy tuna ten ways", lol). All in all, I love SPR!
Takeout experience was horrible. If you are going to auto charge a gratuity, the service should reflect it. Attitude was dismissive, no utensils, soy sauce or napkins included. Never again!
As soon as I saw the menu, I was won over! After eating, I have to question my sanity for not having visited before! Very few seafood items seemed to be missing. I just HAD to try as many as we could afford - Crawfish Bisque (wonderful - even my wife, who dislikes cream-based soups loved it), Soft Shell Crab (among the best I've had), Fried Oysters (these 2 non-oyster fans found to be excellent), Squid (not breaded ala Calamari - just perfectly cooked), Escargot (in a wonderful garlic cream chili sauce with veggies). The only items we couldn't give 10's to were the Octopus cakes (seemed less tender than previously experienced), and the Tempura noodles (too spicy for my wife). Yes, they have the other favorites we had to pass on - Lobster, Tuna, Salmon, etc. I can't wait to return to try some of these. The service was good. We did have to ask for the table to be wiped after we sat down but came to the conclusion the finish was coming off! I believe the prices are quite reasonable.
Great sushi and excellent Service
Very good sushi. But don't order the sushi pizza which was very disappointing. The specialty rolls were delicious. Especially the ones with the seared fish. Service was good and efficient. Although, despite notices requiring masks to be worn, many of the wait staff were not wearing masks, which I found to be unsatisfactory
Stopped in with a party of 5 after the movies around 9pm on a Friday evening. The Sashimi like fresh and delicious. Excellent selection of Sushi ?. Loved the Jalapeno, Shrimp ? & Squid ? stir fry. Nice drink menu. Service was outstanding.
The 8 samurai roll and the Diablo were next level. Those shrimp dumplings were on point too!
