I chose to go to saltwater crab on a date. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. They have a wonderful drink menu. The food and presentation of our meals was a 10 out of 10. Our waiter’s name was Zane he provided highly exceptional customer service he came to check on us multiple times and made sure he took care of our requests quickly. I highly recommend this restaurant for a date or if you’re looking for someplace to dine get great food and enjoy the modern comfy atmosphere!
ABSOLUTE BEST seafood I've had all year. It beats the beach!!Top notch quality, fresh, delicious and tasty. So many options. My kids ate every bite of new foods and asked to go back!Great service.Yummy tea!Amazing sushi.
This was our 1st visit to the Saltwater Crab. We started with a dozen raw oysters from Maine that were really good. We also had the fried soft shell crab, it was not your normal whole fried crab but big pieces of fried crab that was excellent. My wife had the Salmon with crab meat & scallops on top it was cooked to perfection and was also excellent. I had the fried oysters with their signature rice and corn. The oysters were good but I was a little disappointed with the rice as it was was pretty blan. We also each got a sushi roll, I can't remember the name of the one my wife got but each piece was laid down and had crab meat piled up on it man it was so good. I got the spiderman roll and it was some kind of good. We got there early afternoon and apparently they had a heck of a lunch crowd as the place was a wreck and not until we were almost finished eating was anyone worried about cleaning it up, this is the reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5.
Delicious and very nice setup!! I will definitely return and try more things! I enjoyed the drunken lamb and the peach oolong tea????
Me and my family thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The food was very good as well as the service. The tip is added to your bill fyi.
The food here is amazing! I split a spicy boil with my fiance and it was some of the best crab I've had at a restaurant. I also really loved their tea. It was not the typical black tea most restaurants have, and I really appreciated it. The service was also great! Our waitress, T, was so friendly. My only complaint is their use of plastic bags to season the boil. It is not a good practice from an environmental or health perspective. However, it isn't so bad that I would knock off a star. I highly recommend coming here for seafood.
Listen y’all. I’ve eaten at the juicy crab in Atlanta where they swear they do seafood the best… but this place is hands down the BEST SEAFOOD BOIL I HAVE EVER EATEN. I don’t even know how I could make this myself?! I’m absolutely blow away. If you haven’t eaten here your MISSING OUT. RUN DONT WALK to saltwater crab (not to mention the atmosphere, servers and service was amazing even with them being short staffed and fully sat)
Super terrible service. The amount of time spent waiting on every aspect of our service, was not worth the mediocre/bland food we were served. She came for our drink order quickly, and that was all that was done in hast. She dropped off the sour teas, and was off without even asking about starters. 10-15 minutes later she returns, takes our food/cocktail order, and disappears for another 10 minutes. She returns with a good enough tasting seafood dip, and some chips that were half soggy and half stale somehow (when asked for a replacement, the "new" chips were just as bad). The sushi (half our meal) came out about 10 minutes later, and I asked about my cocktail... which she forgot about. We eat our fairly tasty sushi roll/wait for the next 20-25 minutes for the rest of our food, when I overhear our waitress reminding the kitchen about our order..5 minutes later we finally get the last of our food. The catfish was nothing special, and neither were the shrimps. My husband did not get a refill the last 15 minutes of our meal either, which finally upset him enough that he didn't want to finish eating. To top it off, they took it upon themselves to add in a $13 tip on the bill... we didn't even argue, we just paid and left.
LOVED LOVED LOVED! I stopped by on my way out of Memphis. I got seated right away by the bar since no tables were available. My bartender was really nice.I got started with fresh oysters and a Moscow Mule cocktail made to perfection. I had their Lamb chops, they were delicious not chewy, perfectly cooked and so juicy!
Can’t wait to go again. Haven’t had many fresh oysters with a terrific garlic vinegar to accompany them. The atmosphere was perfect. Not too noisy not too quiet and clean. The presentation of the sushi and salad was above par. I wish I remembered the name of the rolls, I think Los Angeles and Batman roll. The sushi was flavorful, the sauces were perfectly paired just as the salad dressing was expertly paired with the house salad. The intricate details of the beets as a garnish on the salad was just “chefs kiss” I can’t act as if I’ don’t get anxious when I pass by. This was a great addition to Midtown. Well overdue. ❤️
