The Southern cuisine is amazing, especially the soul egg rolls! We also enjoyed fried cauliflower and fried green tomatoes. The staff is friendly and the portions are ample. I highly recommend that you try this place!

Staff is wonderful!! I love it Great environment. Will be back?

Eating while traveling is always an adventure. But Sage was an absolute find in Memphis. Ordered appetizers, meals and drinks. Every single thing was perfectly blended and seasoned so creatively. The Chef was destined to cook - the flavors he creates only come with natural talent. And the bartender was equally talented. A must have if you are here.

They have a wonderful brunch. The food is great and the atmosphere is typical Memphis. Show around 10:30 for brunch, because the line will go down the street.

My husband and i ordered the soul rolls for appetizer, our main was blackened catfish and mine was fried catfish and grits. The food was absolutely to die for .. yummy. Our waitress was very nice! It’s our first time in Memphis and we choice a great restaurant!

I am giving Sage a 3 solely based on service! The food and drink were phenomenal! We were excited about dining here based on the reviews. We were greeted by Naomi, and were told the wait would be approx 15 minutes. That was a reasonable time, and we were sat outside by choice. After about 5-7 minutes, we were greeted by our server Taylor who took our drink orders. The initial impression was off to a fine start, it quickly took a turn for the worse. There were some large fans to circulate the air, this was a rainy day and the temperature was cooler than usual, the fan was blowing directly on us making it uncomfortable to say the least. We asked Naomi if it could be adjusted, she was gracious enough to accommodate, as we were the only party in the section. Taylor came back thru and stated very loudly that the temperature couldn't be adjusted, she then proceeded to turn up the fan to its maximum, which was not understood. Naomi, then came by to ask if we were okay, in front of us, it seemed as if she was being chastised by Taylor. She was totally unprofessional; she went on to say how it can't be adjusted, she didn't know why we kept asking or how many times she had to say it, but not to adjust the fan. Naomi did turn the fan away from us so at least it was no longer blowing directly on us making our dining experience unbearable. On to the food...it was PHENOMENAL!, We had the beignets, soul waffle(greens, mac&cheese, chicken), shrimp & grits. The cocktails were delightful!

What a gem! Outstanding food & cocktails, reasonably priced, attentive & friendly service from our waiter, Frenchy, and overall great experience. Our party of four had the blackened catfish, pesto pasta. & chicken salad. All were divine! 10/10 recommend!

Hands down this is a place to go to of you are in Memphis!! The atmosphere is great, the drinks are amazing, and the food the food is the best I have had in a long time and I am a picky eater. Man I love it here!!! I’m coming back just for this place!!! Yesss

I’ve been wanting to try SAGE for a few years and what a better day than my birthday! The chef, jewel did an AMAZING job! The best salmon croquet Benedict’s I’ve ever put in my mouth! The sangria was so fruity and delicious! The Sage beignets were better than any I’ve had in New Orleans! The service was incredible! Thank you Sage for making my birthday memorable!

Today was my first day eating at Sage. There was a very long line but we did take pics outside of the wall mural. Very beautiful. The shrimp and grits were Delicious. The food was hot and the grits were like nothing I've ever tasted. Very moist and buttery. Each bite melted in my mouth. I couldn't stop eating until it was all gone. The shrimp were cooked to perfection. The stuff waffles were very tastie I only had a bite but my daughter enjoyed every bite. The chicken and waffles were not a big hit to me. The waffles were great but the chicken was hard and dry. Perhaps they cooked it a little too long. We spent about $90 but that included 4 entrees. 2 alcohol drinks and gratuity. I would go back because I had a great time and customer service was excellent.
