Husband was in the mood for prime rib and so we made the trek (almost 45 minutes) to Wolfchase and it was worth the drive. Warning - this is big food. Had we realized that, we would have ordered less dishes. First up, the appetizer grilled artichokes, lovely but messy! But so good. We decided each on a salad with home made dressings and oh, boy, it was so big. It's almost a meal in itself. Nicely constructed with fresh ingredients and crunchy croutons. For our main course, we each had the prime rib, medium rare, with smashed potatoes, The au jou was perfect! Very crowded and popular even at 2:15 in the afternoon. Service was exceptional and I witnessed them dealing with some, shall we say, difficult customers. I had to laugh when I saw a couple order a baked potato as their appetizer and sent it back and complained to the manager. They received a newly baked potato and then their entree included a baked potato. I guess they really like potatoes. I was impressed with the entire experience.
Overpriced, average food. Server was not very friendly. He couldn't answer simple questions about the menu. We went to J. Alexander's several times and thought Redlands would be comparable. Unfortunately, it was a terrible disappointment.
This was my first time at J. Alexander Redlands Grill. I went with some friends to celebrate my 50th Birthday. The food was good. I will definitely return.
What an amazing experience we had last night! The service was outstanding, the food was fresh and very tasteful. Alison did a magnificent job as our server as well.I had the salmon with a Thai barbecue sauce and pasta salad, and my wife had fabulous chicken tenders with a baked potato. The chocolate cake was exceptional as well!
Service was great, food was great. I ordered steak brazzo and the spinach queso dip which was excellent! Haven’t been here in 4/5 years don’t really know why ?
Accommodating staff made room for our party, the atmosphere is great for families and friends. Anthony was our waiter and helped to make this a great experience. Highly recommend the carrot cake and the chocolate lava cake.
I ended my birthday night with the delicious chocolate cake and ice cream. The cake was warm and chocolatey. My waitress was so amazing and very professional. My boyfriend introduced me to this restaurant and I've loved it ever since!
Food and drinks are and was delicious . Our waitress was so caring and friendly.
Took my sister here for her birthday. This was my 1st time here. Food was good except I wasn't feeling the Mac and Cheese. It was too sweet for me other than that I enjoyed my meal. The shrimp was seasoned really well. My sister had the Grilled Cajun Trout and it looked so good I had to taste it. I'll be getting that my next visit.
I took my husband here for his birthday dinner. The food here is unmatched. We will definitely be returning here; sooner than later. Great food, drinks, staff, and an amazing atmosphere!!!
