Overall, the food was wonderful, and our waitress Jessica was outstanding. However, the overall experience was unacceptable. The music in the Restaurant was Inappropriate for a lunch crowd which included children such as my ten-year-old niece.The music contained profanity and strong sexual content. Also, there were a total of five employees' children of various ages running loosely around the restaurant and freely entering and exiting the kitchen. Once again the food was wonderful. Red Hook, you need to do better!
It was SOOOOO Good!!!! There were 9 of us and we all had a variety of dishes. Gumbo was perfect 9 out of 10. Chowder was really good 8 out of 10.Fried green tomatoes 8 of 10.Fried shrimp, fried crawfish and catfish 9 of 10. Boil bags with crab legs, sausage, potatoes, corn, Shrimp, lobster tail & broccoli. 10 of 10!!! Cherry Limeade drink 9 of 10. Redhook Rainbow 7 of 10. Cajun Navel 5 of 10. Waitress Kelsey 10 of 10!!! Excellent service!!! $410 including tax & tip for 9 people. Not bad!! No wait to get in. Definitely a huge recommendation!!
Only giving 1 star because zero isn’t an option. I felt the vibe immediately upon entering the parking lot. Witnessed a lady smoking at the entrance who turns and runs into the restaurant ahead of us who happened to be the host.She seemed quite vexed that we interrupted her smoking session. Her greeting was totally aloof. A guy tells her to not seat us in his section and she proceeded to seat us on the back. We were never acknowledged so we left. Based on mixed reviews I’ve seen, it’s safe to say the service may be hit or miss. Exceptional customer service these days is completely devoid. Invest in some nicotine gum for the hostess working the evening of 5.21.22.

This is my favorite place to buy seafood from. I usually get it to-go, but today I decided to dine in with my lady and we enjoyed it. Big s/o to our waitress Crissy, will ask for her again next time we dine in. I always brag about RedHook being better than the other seafood places because they haven't let me down like the other places.
Food delicious as always but the service was lacking severely. My server was very nice but she was overworked and could not take care of her customers like she needed to. The wait was only about 30 minutes to be seated. But then it was 30 more minutes to get drinks. About 45 minutes to get appetizer. The seafood bags came out pretty quickly though. My visit was almost 4 hours due to all the waiting between everything.
We waited and and waited after being seated and almost left but, a server took us even though we were not her section. She rocked!! Food was beyond great!!! Highly recommended!!!!!!!
