Our server was very attentive, helpful & courteous. She brought extra everything to our table without us ever having to ask! My baby loves their king crab legs so we will absolutely be returning! The ambiance of the restaurant is very inviting. I love the decor and the entire feel.*edit for the owner’s reply* sweetheart my name is Ieshia. Not Leshia. That’s an I. Not L. I’m old enough to know how to properly spell my name. Thank you!
I’ve never seen anyone beg for a tip for awful service. I tipped the bartender and I’m mad! Had to ask for a chilled glass for my draft beer. Fries cold, attitudes nasty… and who wears a headscarf to work? Not friendly… I won’t be coming back! Glad my friend enjoyed her boiled food. Seems like that was the only thing good…
Best Redhook Location. A couple days ago me and my family dined in and we had a Awesome time. Liz made sure we where taken care of. She is so sweet and funny we will be back today to Have dinner with her and only her. I have never did a review with anyone else at this location food is always good but the servers aren’t as good as Liz. Thank you
Let me start by saying I will be returning to this Location very soon again. Today me and my family Dined in And our Servers name was Liz. She was Exceptional,. Fun and Very attentive We didn't have to ask her for anything. I was told she was the only server today and me and other customers couldn't believe how calm and sweet she was. I've been to this Location a few times and That had to been the best Service and Food we have had thus Far Thank you Liz and Team. She deserved every bit of the $200 tip we left. Good Job!!!!!
This was my first time dining inside. We usually place an order for pick up. Our server (Liz) was on point from beginning to end. She greeted us with a smile, took our drink order then food order. She gave us helpful advice on items to save a buck or two. She made sure we had everything before and after our orders came out! She checked on us as well as, her other customers. The laid back and old school music only helped the good fun we were having. By the end of our meals, we met some of the customers that Liz waited on. It was a great lunch!! We told Liz, if we decide to eat in again, we want her as our server!!
We had a group of 9 seated on the 2nd floor yesterday. The room add a bad odor and nets was present. The waitress who was very nice, sprayed some Lysol in the room to calm the smell down. She had customers on all floors so it was hard for her to expedient. Since we were along originally in the room it was hard to get service unless we catch the elevator to go to another floor. The onion rings was VERY greasy, there was mole on the marinara sauce that accompanied the mozzarella sticks, the wings was fried extremely HARD and some of the lemons was going bad. They gave a 25% discount off 1 ticket for the mozzarella sticks and took the price it off the other. Nobody EVER came to remove the excessive eaten food off the table. We brought a cake and had to clean off the table ourselves in order place it in the table. The waitress was swamped and all over the place. When I called ahead to confirm our reservation, they couldn’t find it. However, I told them who took our reservation so they did accommodate us. The staff was nice, but considering how much we spent the food and service was not good.
Food was great fresh and friendly will be back
First time trying Red Hook to taste their Cajun style food. Was greatly disappointed with most of the menu items my dinner partner and I tried. Here's a list of the items we tried and our impressions:Crab Cake - very ordinaryGumbo - no Cajun zing. Had to add hot sauce to provide any flavor. Did someone forget to add the file to the gumbo?Cole Slaw - Terrible. No flavor.Gin Martini - Too much vermouthSoft Shell Crab - very goodOnion Rings - also very goodTilapia - Lackluster. Again...no Cajun spices detectedCajun fries - very ordinaryService - average
Disgusted Disgusting ‼️ I placed a order for the Friday meal deal. I added 2eggs. All three sauces. A cup of water & a Margeritta on the rocks drink was superb... Food was tasty until I found this stuff on my crabs legs(leeches) I got sick IMMEDIATELY I couldn't even finish my drink. When I bought it to the waitress attention she immediately told the manager in return he asked can we do you another one & I said NO YOU CAN'T I'm sick now just thinking about it. I told him wat it was & I took a picture of it & he said no its not that is fish eggs I was like Bro no its not and he said we will take care of your meal today. I'm ok with that but I'm not pleased. You have to wash them before you cook them that's What I do. Not a bad spot maybe this was one was overlooked IDK but please do what is right for paying customers. That's is all that's the post.
We went yesterday and waited an hour and half on our food to be served. Alcoholic beverages are watered down. Don’t expect fast service when seated up stairs because it was non existent. When I walked in I thought it was a museum or library. Definitely didn’t seem like a seafood restaurant. Parking lot is too small. Food was meh. I ordered the catfish basket and the fish and shrimp was bland without seasoning. This place is hyped up over nothing and that’s typical from people in the city.
