I have never had a bad meal here. The chicken I had last weekend was not the best dish Iâve had (that would be the pork roast, greens, and cornbread pudding!), but my dining companion thought it was very good. My server was friendly, helpful, and prompt.

First timers at The Farmer at Railgarten but this is the fourth location of The Farmer for one of the couples in our party. Two couples had dinner together on a Friday night. Try the fried pimento cheese app - quite tasty! Three of us had one form of burger or another. We each thought our burger was very good - cooked to order, fresh dressings. For a side, one of us had the roasted potato salad with a tangy, garlicy dressing was very good, too. Two chose seasoned fries as their side. These were cooked to perfection but recalled drive-thru fries. Our other friend chose the vegetable plate which was a very generous portion of roasted cauliflower, roasted broccoli and maple glazed Brussels sprouts. These were all seasoned wonderfully but our friend thought the broccoli could have used a few more minutes of roasting. The food was a good value for the prep and quality. The one glitch was service. After seating we were left stranded a bit too long. Our server was very nice and helpful but as is the case far too often nowadays, didn't write down our order before hustling back to the order entry system. When three orders came out for the four of us, there were many apologies, an expedited correction and due to the patience of the diner, all was rescued. In the end we were all very pleased and would not hesitate to return.
Good experience, nice waitress, good drinks and food! It was a little too loud to have conversation. We will definitely go back.

This was our second time to have lunch at The Farmer at Railgarten. Our food was excellent as before, the service was very attentive and it was just a great dining experience overall. We will definitely return to this restaurant!
Food was a little dry and not as robust and inventive as prior Farmer locations.
