Pathetic excuse for chicken tenders. Went through drive through and received no dipping sauce and tenders were small and shriveled up.I’ve enjoyed same food order from Popeye’s in West Memphis in past and these were very good. This Memphis store doesn’t come close to meeting Popeye’s standards. Avoid!This was first visit since remodeled and no improvement.
I rarely eat fast food, but I was in the area and popeyes sounded good. The workers had attitudes and nobody greeted me nor the customer behind me. They just looked as if we were the problem. I ordered thru the app so I was hoping it was ready when I arrived. The chicken was cold and flavorless. Wings still had feathers. I wish I had taken a pic of the wing that tried to fly away lol. I won't go back smh!
If I could give 0 I would. Two employees was hanging outside by entrance door smoking (1) was a manager or shift leader with very dark and nasty nails. 1 employee was off work and his pants was sagging real bad. He could barely walk to the car. The drive thru line was very slow. As soon we was able to get to speaker we drove off. We won't ever come back to that location.
Line was long and orders slowly came out in the dining room. They couldn’t tell one order from the other because the lady left for, I assume lunch, and the wait was about 25 minutes. I was very upset. The young lady next to me waited as long as I did and they gave her something extra for her wait. If that’s the case, they should’ve compensated all of us waiting that long. Oh well!!!!
I got an 8 piece chicken tender meal which only came with one side - Who only wants one side? So I got mashed potatoes and added a macaroni and cheese (came with 4 biscuits) and then I got a ? for dessert = $27 ‼️‼️??♀️??♀️ but It was good and it lasted me for that nights dinner and lunch the next day. Forgot to take pictures. Only four stars because I wish it wasn’t so freaking expensive
Of course they're rude. They do love us though.. Not an easy job I would be pulling my silky red hair out!???As for the food I love the spicy chicken. Excellent! And the hot mashed potatoes are so good in the bone chilling cold.
After waiting in line for almost 20 minutes I asked for a family meal. I was greeted very nicely. As the cashier was asking how long would it take for white meat prepared a female in the background yelled obscenities telling her they would not offer any more white or spicy chicken for the night. I was taken aback. And felt awful for the verbal abuse the young lady suffered.
Right before ice storm picked up a spicy eight piece tender family box with one large side and four biscuits. For twenty dollars and change we had food that microwaves to warm well, was filling and tasty, and has fed us for two days with some left over. The staff is friendly and efficient.
Time to revise my review. This location recently received a much-needed full renovation inside and out. I was able to dine in in mid-January and received my food quickly by the kind employees. Chicken and fries were good, Coke was good, and the biscuit was nice and fluffy. I'll be back.
Just don’t mobile order. The food was good, and one of the staff members was very polite and friendly. This visit was just 45 minutes before the closing of the shift so I don’t want to fail to consider that. A side item was missing (and i am not referring to the one that was substituted).As a previous review mentioned, apparently they do not prepare any mobile orders until you get there and manage to attain the attention of one of the workers in order to make sure they are aware of your order.
