I have more bad experiences with this restaurant than I do good. This time I was told that there was an hour wait for chicken because the order ahead of me was for $400. My first thought is Popeye’s is out of chicken?! That’s a thing that should never happen. My second thought was that there should be a company and/or store policy requiring orders that might otherwise shut the restaurant down must be placed in advance rather than the drive through. 3 cars immediately ahead of me pulled out of line. Just imagine how many cars they were going to have to turn away over the next 45 minutes! In its simplest form, it’s much better to turn away one customer so that you don’t have to turn away, what, 50? And you wouldn’t necessarily have to turn them away. You would simply tell them that it will take an hour to fill their order. Look, you’re going to sell the chicken one way or another. It’s a matter of how many people you have to turn away disappointed; 1 or 50. The previous time I tried to buy chicken here they’d closed early without any explanation. I chalked that up to pandemic employment shortage issues. This time it’s clearly due to a poor management decision. But the last 2 times I’ve gone to this store I’ve left without being able to even buy food.
Terrible Terrible Location. No drinks, No sides, only molded mashed potatoes ?, literally almost threw up when I took the top off the potatoes, literally made my stomach turn. Chicken fried soooo hard. Not gon say that the staff was rude because they wasn't, but they definitely don't take pride in their work AT ALLL. It's sad. Before serving people bull**** and have them waste their hard earned money;Ask yourself," would I eat this?"'or "would I serve something like this to my mom or child"? If the answer is "NO" ,then ?DONT SERVE IT TO ME!!!!! SERVE IT TO ME LIKE YOU WOULD SERVE IT TO YOURSELF!!!!!! HOT & FRESH ?
Worst place ever to go for a drive-thru. It’s my 2nd experience and I have promised myself to never visit this location ever!!It literally took me 45 minutes to reach the ordering window when there were only 4 cars ahead of me. Even after reaching the kiosk the lady did not take my order for next 10 minutes.It was raining that day and imagine waiting with your window open!!!
You know I knew a lot of the people that work for the company show no pride. But to know the corporation doesn't care is huge to me. I bought the "Tackle Box" today. Bit into one of the shrimp and noticed there's twice as much breading as there is shrimp. So I decided to peel a little of the breading off. And noticed none of the shrimp have been deveined. That's disgusting. Its bad enough you don't get very many but to open them and see that makes me sick
The worst Popeyes in Memphis. No professionalism, no decorum, never have mobile order correct. The workers lack simple common sense. This place needs need managerial staff before all of them be out of jobs because of how poor ratings and satisfaction is . I wish I could give 0 stars, just read everyone’s reviews lol like it’s ridiculous
The service was terrible. And the the food was undercooked. Simply unbelievable. This location really works hard to take a good product and find ways to make it bad. Whoever owns this restaurant needs to make big changes are just simply shut down
This was not the first time they disappointed us. We said we were not going back. Just got back into town and thought it might be good. It was so dry, terrible. We really want go back!
Poor management… cashier trash… POOR Customer Service ..everybody lazy there!! EVERYBODY LAZY THERE!!!! Corporate need to come there and get things in order.. Plus they always out of chicken, sides, strips.. in the early part of the night.. CORPORATE PLEASE COME!!THIS POPEYES HAS GOTTEN TOOOO OUT OF CONTROL AND TOO GHETTO NOW!!!So General Manager…. Fire ur manager… hire new leadership… cuz this location is the worse in Memphis!!!!
I had to wait in line over 25 minutes. When I get close to the window they had me stop so the timer wouldn't start. Which took another 10 minutes. When I got my food it was cooked to hard. I also asked for mild chicken. When I got home my 6 year old couldn't eat it because it was spicy.It is safe to say I will be going to KFC from now on.
I can't hardly get on the parking lot most times, parking lot is very small. They don't always have chicken wings either.
