I was so excited to try this place. The gentleman who took my order was very polite. I waited an hour for my food. I understand the food is made fresh, however, waiting an hour with no a/c was kind of brutal. When my order was finally ready, I asked for some ranch and the man in charge tells me it’s going to be a dollar. I told him I would pay the dollar but had somewhere to be and had already waited an hour for my food in the heat. Keep in mind I left a tip that was well over the dollar he rudely asked for. I honestly regret tipping in the first place after that encounter. Overall, the food was great. The customer service and ticket times need work.
Delicious. My non vegan bf and I (vegan) love finding places to get delicious food we both will enjoy. I would have ordered everything on the menu if I could have. Got a burger and the jackfruit BBQ sandwich.Wish the place had some AC and maybe some more seating but it's the food that counts. Service was great! Can't wait to come back next time we are in Memphis.
I had the burger and sautéed spinach.....who would think you can have plant based food that tasted so good. I would definitely recommend. It hit ever spot. Made fresh to order. I definitely will be back.
This place is very easy to get to and the food is excellent. My son heard about it on YouTube and wanted to try it. I was concerned because it was taking longer than your normal fast food however, the manager told me when I enquired that each order is made fresh. My son ordered the fried mushrooms. Oh boy! They were awesome! I am so sorry I don't have a picture to show you but I can tell you they tasted like fried chicken and the sauce they put over them was out of this world.
We tried Plant Based Heat Saturday and immediately fell in love! The food was absolutely delicious, the customer service was A1, and the variety was great! We loved it so much that we came back 3 days later! This is definitely going to be a frequent place for us!
Delicious! Well worth a trip to South Memphis..The staff was a bit unorganized and didn't seem to quite know what they were doing. But the owner (I assume), was very helpful and got our order handled. He was super busy and friendly, hard working guy.Highly recommend the oyster mushroom sandwich. We didn't care for the Mac n cheese or the coleslaw as much but our sandwichs and donuts were amazing!
Best vegan food I’ve had in my life. They oyster mushroom sandwich made me cum in my chair. Nothing has ever motivated me to get a job like being able to afford some more PBH
My friend and I visited yesterday while we’re in town. We both got the chik’n sandwich, which was great. Seasoned fries were on point as well, and the cookies reminded me of a nice deli style cookie. The owner seemed to know everyone else who came in’s name and was really friendly. You can tell he’s always in and getting to know people, which is awesome to see. If I were local, I would be eating here regularly.
Great staff, vegan comfort food! I ordered the BBQ jackfruit sandwich with beans and fries. My friend ordered honey gold wings and sweet potato tots. She was generous and let me try her food, we can't wait to try more. I would definitely recommend.
Everything! I got the Italian smoke sausage, fries and Lemonade. It was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful! I've had several things from there and was never disappointed. I am not a vegetarian yet, but I am seriously heading in that direction?
