My family of 20 & I all met here for my son in laws Birthday. We had no reservations so I was iffy as to how this would go if a party size so large. Needless to say I was so impressed with the manager and staff in regards to how prompt & patient they where with our party. It’s been really hard to find that pre covid service anywhere lately, but the experience we had at this Perkins location made us feel warm and comfortable. Felt like old times. It was absolutely Amazing. Haven’t felt that way in a while now. I wanted to make sure I took time to share my story and to let the people of Memphis know if you’re looking for good food, a clean environment, with the Best servers and staff this side of the Mississippi then you guys Definitely want to pay a visit to the Perkins at 3455 Poplar Ave in Memphis right there at Poplar & Highland & tell them Tiffany Jones highly recommended you to come. You will be guaranteed satisfied!

Only giving a one star because I can’t go any lower. Everyone raves about Perkins so when I came to Memphis I had to check them out. This was a huge disappointment. I ordered French toast with turkey sausage and eggs. French toast was just egg and bread nothing else. The eggs and turkey sausage was actually good. I ordered country potatoes but didn’t receive them. I also ordered strawberry cheese crisper that was all burnt. Service was horrible and couldn’t even get a refill.

I like it. Cleanliness is key..and they are clean. My daughter and I(hungry as ever) sat a table that appeared to be clean, and a friendly server said..let me wipe that table for y'all ? Her service was friendly and prompt. There was a little bit of a wait to be seated(30 min) but it was worth the wait. I had the steak n gravy skillet with a raspberry Fanta. Go check em out

My daughter and I was waiting patiently to get waited on. We have been there for over twenty minutes and never got a chance ti order. They was short of worker, we understood that; but the fact after the Manager told the waiter we been there a while, the lady responded… I don’t care if they get mad I got to go; and then put someone in front of us. This was a terrible experience for both of us! Even though they was short of staff, we understood that AND WAITED PATIENTLY!!!! but the fact her mouth was smart and disrespectful talking in-direct to me and my daughter!!! I understand when you short of stafff it can be frustrating!! That waiter behavior was out of control!!!! ? you still can be nice. There was no need to wait for service! My baby wanted waffles so bad! We left and went to a different location and service was awesome!

I understand being shorthanded. However, I don't understand acknowledgement. If you have customers or potential customers standing near your front door or around your server station, acknowledge them. It helps to ease the tension and will go a long way in helping your business. Terrible and I understand if you're no longer interested in my business.

I didn't want gas station coffee so I stopped by for a fresh brewed batch. The french vanilla creamer was good. Next time I will get more. Had coffee pack to prep it which was a plus for me. Will stop by again.

There were issues between the staff that spoiled over to the customers. Also I requested not to be served by specific waitress because her service and attitude was horrible on my last two visits. Kim my waitress today was great!!! And the lady on the register upfront is ALWAYS ON POINT AND PROFESSIONAL.

If you are okay paying for an attitude with your order this is the place to go! Common courtesy is clearly not so common these days! As soon as I walked in I asked the server a question about seating! Her response, “I don’t know what she’s talking about”! As if I am not standing there. Her coworker laughs as she walks off and the manager witnessed it all! I order my food to go and the same older heavy set white lady who was rude previously asks what condiments do I want? I ask is there a fork in the bag? She then responds, “I just asked you if you needed any condiments!” I let her know the second rude comment confirmed the first one and I needed to make a complaint! The manager apologized but the experience was the worst! NEVER AGAIN!!

Perkins restaurant is the best place to have breakfast. The food is delicious, the coffee is wonderful, and the service is impeccable.Molly made the entire experience amazing.I highly recommend Perkins.I will definitely be returning there, very soon.

Amazing service and food! Great stop for being from out of town! The pies and cookies looked amazing, but I could not pack it in for dessert. Shame. ?
