My friend and I visited Perignons on May 21, 2022 around 4ish.The hostess was nice and cordial. We later found out she was the manager.She stated that because they had a large party, they were still on their brunch menu. We took that to mean they would've been serving dinner by then, but the kitchen was backed up. Now, after checking the restaurant's hour, I understand that they are usually closed at 4pm and do not open again until 5pm. I would have rather she shared this information, so we could've made an informed decision. I believe she was trying to be accommodating, which can be appreciated, but there is a reason why the restaurant is scheduled to take a break between brunch and dinner.Other than the brunch party, my friend and I were the only two people in the restaurant.Secondly, my friend ordered Chicken and Waffles with a side of sausage. It took 45 minutes for her order to come to the table. The waffles looked like Eggo waffles, the food wasn't hot, and they gave her bacon instead of sausage. When the sausage did come out, it was burnt.I didn't want breakfast food. The waitress informed us that they would start their dinner menu at 5pm. Since it was taking so long for my friend's food to come, I waited until 5pm. We ordered Boom Boom shrimp as an appetizer. They were small in size and quantity as well as heavily battered, but the taste/seasoning was good.I then ordered some Jerk Chicken Pasta. The food came out in decent time. The seasoning in the pasta was pretty good, but my pasta came out very watery. The noodles were also overcooked. Though my plate was hot, my food was not very hot. It was not that piping, fresh, hot with steam. Considering the shorter wait time, I think it should have been fresh.I informed my server of my issues, and she got the manager. To be fair, the manager did ask if I wanted something else. I declined and just asked for a discount because I was so hungry and didn't feel like waiting. We had already been there over an hour. In retrospect, I should have just sent the order back instead of looking for my food to be discounted. That would have made things simple and clear for the manager and me. I admit that.The manager did eventually give me a discount, and for that I am grateful.But, the lack of professionalism during my experience sealed the deal on my review.1. When I explained that my noodles were overcooked and my entree had too much sauce [I should have said "soupy"], the manager stated they make it that way because most people like extra sauce as opposed to Olive Garden which does not give enough sauce. I believe that she should have simply focused on my issue rather than sharing others' preferences or naming another restaurant. Then, as far as the noodles being overcooked, she stated she could go to the back and taste the noodles herself. I was taken aback because if the meals are cooked fresh to order, why are there cooked noodles sitting and readily available for tasting? I shared my sentiments with her. I am not a chef, so I do not know if having cooked noodles ready to prep is normal or not. Again, I acknowledge that when I was offered something else, I should have declined and just sent my entree back.2. After speaking with the manager, one of the cooks came from the kitchen and walked by the table. Then, the manager, the cook, and some of the hostesses were all gathered in the foyer/waiting area. We had to walk by them in order to leave, and it was uncomfortable. If it was break time, I don't believe the best place to stand was at the entrance area of the restaurant.3. I am not sure if it's a family restaurant or not, but there were people in plain clothes coming from outdoors [some were patrons in the brunch party aforementioned] walking directly into the kitchen. That's not sanitary nor professional.I will say that my waitress, whom I believed is named Moe, was personable and nice.Overall, I think that the restaurant has some work to do around professionalism. My first experience eating here on a Sunday was pleasant. It was an hour wait but, it worked out. The service was really good and the food was good. However, I recently went by there this past Sunday on June 5, 2022. I was told it would be an hour wait for the number of guests. Which was not my issue. My issue came when we actually sat down and NOT 1 waiter/waitress came to our table to at least take our drink order. Not even a greeting. The hostess went to go get our waitress but sadly she never came. So we decided to get up and leave. Upon leaving the hostess says, “Thanks for coming.” I’m all about supporting black owned businesses and paying for good food. But, consistency is what matters the most. You guys have got to be consistent in everything you do.
I stopped by this location today to look T the space for a future event, I was promptly greeted by smiling/welcoming faces. While I did not have an appointment, Patrice, manager of the event space graciously allowed me to take a peak at the space. I was very impressed with her professionalism and attention to details with my inquiries.One of the wait staff made a lunch recommendation, and I was pleased with the service and the food. I had grilled pork chops and they were excellently seasoned!Again I was very impressed and grateful for the friendly and helpful wait staff.After finishing my meal, decision made, that will be the venue for our fall event…no need to search any further.
The brunch food was good but the wait a bit longer than normal nice music and live bands on certain days and evenings of the week
Where do I start?!? I had my wedding reception at Perignons last weekend and they did not disappoint me. I gave Patrice my theme (Mardi Gras) and she made our day the best. The room was so beautiful!!! Staff is really nice and professional. I am so glad I did not go by the reviews because there are several bad reviews. If you are trying to decide on a venue, this is definitely the place to be. O yeah and it's spacious!!

Our waitress lost my card and instead of them looking for it they asked for a different form of payment!! I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone! They don’t deserve any stars but I’ll give them 5 so y’all can see!
