They ran out of rice. Why kind of Asian restaurant runs out of rice.
Normally PF Changs is one of our favorites for special occasions so we chose to go there for dinner on Father's Day. I was able to get a reservaton in my prefered time slot a few days prior and we arrived a few minutes early for our reservation. It took us 30 minutes to be seated at our table, despite the reservaton and lack of customers in the restaurant--there were several open tables. The hostess was not great at communicating and never said why there was a delay. Our server Charles was good and we placed our entire order upon being seated since we'd had 30 minutes of wait time to figure it out. The appetizers were good, not great. One of the entrees cam out incorrect but they did correct it pretty quickly. They ran out of white rice and didn't alert us to this until our meal was being served and almost all of our entrees were served with rice. Not our best night will likely take a break from this restaurant for a while.

Whoever is loving this food definitely has no clue what Chinese food tastes like. Or maybe Google has it confused w/ Chinese food. Panda Express is wayyyy better and waaaayyy cheaper. Just trying out places until I find a good Chinese food restaurant. I ordered kung pao with beef- chewing this hard meat was bad enough, the hot and sour soup is too sour and no taste at all, the brown rice was hard, they say this is calamari, but it looks like crab meat to me (see the picture). The sweet and sour chicken was okay, still better at Panda Express?
Server missed ordering a guests entree for lunch.
This Place was very pleasant. Although it did take quite some time to serve us, the food was very delicious. We ended up going two nights in a row because how much they made is feel welcome. Great place to go on a date. Kids menu available if you have children. They serve you one of the biggest slices of cake I have ever received warm too just make sure to order the ice cream with it. If I'm not mistaken their ice cream almost tastes as if they made it in house. Go enjoy for yourself.
7:00 Reservation. Seated at 7:30. Hostess was frustrated and annoyed. Appetizers took 20 minutes to be served. Appetizers were good. Drinks took 30 minutes to be served. Food Order took 1.5 hours to come out. Entrees and shrimp fried rice were overcooked. Server was friendly but inattentive. Screaming babies and kids running amuck. Not a great way to spend $130.00. The only reason we did not leave was because reservations anywhere else were booked. I will never go back to a P.F. Changs.
We had a 7 o’clock reservation, was seated promptly. However, Did not receive our dinner until 8:20. Food was disappointing - it was rushed and fried foods were not crispy. It was valentines night. The only special thing about that night was being out with my sweetie. Will be awhile before we visit this establishment again.
