We ordered chargrilled oysters but we could not taste any signs of oysters being chargrilled at all, they tasted baked and the cheese was hard⦠we were not given bread n butter upon arrival and had to request it. Another family came in after us and received their bread almost immediately, therefore, we requested bread and butter again and finally received it.
The appetizers were good and the special sea bass entree was excellent. Bacon wrapped scallops were undercooked and watery and rested on a blob of awful risotto. Service was excellent but many other places here in Memphis provide much better food for the price.

Maybe I ordered the wrong food, I had the seafood pasta it wasnt all that. My kids and mom said the food was ok also. The blue lemon drop was soooooo good tho so that was a plus. The server was amazing
I recently tried the Owen Brennan's Sunday brunch with friends and family. They don't take brunch reservations. However, we arrived around 10:30 a.m. and were immediately seated. There were quite a few folks waiting for tables when we left. Service was friendly, but maybe a little slow. I give most places a pass on that at this time because of the labor shortage. The food was pretty good for a buffet meal. Cold food was cold, but hot food was only warm instead of being hot as it should have been. Most things I tried were tasty and everyone else in our party agreed. In all, we'll probably return in the future.
The waiter was excellent and very helpful in choosing our dinner. The food was fantastic. I highly recommend the pasta jambalaya. It was so good and the brownie dessert was great.
Tenderloin was too tough to eat . Service was superb though
