$5 to get in for what? I thought this was a restaurant not a club. No live music dirty tables weird smell in the place and no server. Not coming back

Coolest bar in memphis
I just want to say that the bartender who took my order was cool and good for business. Luckily I came in when the place wasn't busy. The reason I give this review two stars is mainly because of the food. When I took a bite of the first mozzarella sticks I was just disappointed. The cheese wasn't gooey enough, and I know I could have gone to the freezer section of the store get some mozzarella sticks and make it better than they did, also the Mariana sauce that came with the mozzarella sticks was too cold. I also ate the pepperoni pizza melt which was ok, but sadly nothing too special. The fries was the only thing that was good especially with the seasoning that was on it. In conclusion good service, but the foods was disappointing.
Cool little place for a drink. Passed the vibe check for sure. Just what I needed being new to the city.
I enjoy coming in here, but Make sure to take your receipt and check the charge on your card… Whoever finalized my bill decided to give themselves a higher tip then what I had written down (which I did tip reasonably). It was almost double. Seems to be a problem in Memphis.
Drinks are so cheap & strong!
The day I chose to go here. I was bar hoping and hopped straight into the perfect place. The waiter was soooo fun and funny. I knew my drink was going to be good because he made it from love. I saw him vibing to the beat and making my drinks. And they came to me greeeeat
Love my Newbys family. Ms. Deb is always amazing. Brad and Elana mad mix drinking skills. Derwin smashing in the kitchen with the food. Gotta love the live bad on Thursday-Saturday nights
This has to have been the worst service of my life. They got my drink order wrong twice. Then tried to charge me for the drinks they messed up on top of the replacements. When I pointed this out I got cursed out and kicked out of the bar. Thank God I didn’t have to pay the tab or it would’ve really messed up my night. Avoid this place at all costs there are hundreds of bars to go to In Memphis that are far more welcoming than this. The ceiling is leaking the bathrooms a mess and the owners clearly have no respect for themselves or their establishment.
