GREAT ?? FOOD!!! Great service. Great family oriented black-family owned small business for the last 30+ years. A Memphis STAPLE. Must go and taste the fried chicken, yams, cornbread, butter roll and cobblers for desserts. Along with the sweet teas!!!!

This is the second time I have eaten there, the chicken wings were good, but the dressing was too sweet and the chitterlings were horrible, they were aunt Bessie chitterlings and they were tough, will not be buying there again.
THE BEST SOUL FOOD IN MEMPHIS HANDS DOWN. amazing black, family owned restaurant. i’ve been going to them for years. they are always good everytime i go. the oxtails are to die for! everything is always full of flavor and they are always so nice. the line may be long but it’s worth the wait.
Delish had pigfeet, big ole fried pork chops, and smothered chicken with rice n gravy, greens, and yams, and best Northern beans ever all devine left me and my 3 boys licking our fingers. We don't normally lick our fingers.
