Absolutely the best frozen treat on a stick! My favorite is the fudge. Mempops are like no other! Totally local (Memphis).

Mempops is a true Memphis staple and if you're visiting the area, you must stop by and have one. But fair warning: the choices are delicious and make it hard to choose just one! I tried the Mexican Chocolate this trip (which was muy delicioso) and my tried and true favorite, Avocado Lime!Sn: my son tried (and succeeded) taking a bite of my Mempop before I could snap my pic!?
There are 2 things I do not understand about Mempops...1) why are these not on every corner in Memphis and 2) how is there not a line out the door every minute they are open! My wife and I visited from Ohio and were introduced to Mempops and absolutely fell in love! during our 3 day stay we visited both locations even though temperatures outside were unseasonably cold. We will definitely be visiting Mempops again every time we come back to Memphis! If there were one in the airport we would have grabbed another before heading home too!!!
I love the unique cream flavors, but even the fruit flavors you can typically find from the big brands are better here. I don't live in Memphis, so I don't always get an opportunity to buy from Mempops, but I'm always sure to drop in when I'm in Memphis. This time around, I loved the Key Lime Pie, Strawberry (remains in the picture), and Strawberry Mango.
Yummy little gourmet pops. You can get a cream base or fruit base and add a chocolate dip, milk or dark, for a dollar. The person working was friendly and the bathrooms were clean. There's space to eat inside or out, or you can walk around the shopping plaza.
